If the FIA wanted to go racing and it be fair they should have red flagged it. They knew what they were doing only letting the cars between Lewis and Max.
I was think if he won and stepped down. De Vries has been working very close with the team. But LH will be back next year.
I think Liberty are lining up Steven Spielberg to replace Massi. Massi did ok this season but despite his best efforts he still allowed sport to get in the way of entertainment a few times.
I think Lewis’s experience did win through. He had done everything he needed to to win this race, and circumstances and decisions took it out of his hands. That’s why it’s so disappointing. If Max had come into this race and won convincingly I would have no complaints.
It's intetesting reading this pro-Hamilton thread, as in every place I've watched F1, 99% of the people are happy to see Hamilton lose. The usual comments relating to him being a whiny self-righteous prick.
Masi has made his own bed here by indulging both teams constantly on the radio. They would never get the access of whiting. The stewards and race director should be the one calling them not the other way round. He deserves everything he gets here.
Congratulations to verstappen, thoughr he won most races without a dodgy engine upgrade but he is an arrogant prick
No comments relating to his driving ability then, just personality attacks. Sounds like you need to participate in a better quality of motorsport forum.
Nope. They were verbatim today in the pub I'm in. The result was met with cheers and laughter all round.
Can you imagine if Mercedes appealed? What would they do, F1's rules are fully on Mercedes side, but what does that mean. Just because race control hasn't followed its own safety rules doesn't mean the title should be taken off Max. Maybe Mercedes should just threaten to walk to leave F1 feeling pretty nervous over Christmas. No matter what happens now the season is tainted, the better driver this season has won which normally is cause for celebration, but how can you look back and feel proud once the adrenaline is gone. Really feel sorry for Max here, way more so than Lewis.
What a cluster that was at the end.... Still trying to process it. Been a few times this season where I've said "never seen that before" to myself. How bloody odd.
