Astonishing that the media managed to get CCTV footage of Matt Hancock snogging a bird in an office corridor within hours of it happening but took a whole year to find out about Downing Street staffers having cheese and wine in the Cabinet Office while Boris was not even there.

When 2050 comes around and Britain is not “Net Zero” as Boris claimed it would be in Glasgow, Saint Greta will be a middle aged has-been searching care homes to find Boris to complain that he betrayed the planet.

 

There is no logic at all to Starmer demanding that Boris resigns. His only chance of winning the next election is to keep Boris there so that more and more Tory voters do not vote.

I do not agree with your belief that Boris will be gone in a week. It would take longer than that for the Conservatives to launch their formal proceedings to remove him and have a leadership contest.

I do think that Boris may not last until March 2022. As his “Plan B” measures become more and more ridiculous, I think that enough backbenchers will send their letters to the 1922 Committee to trigger a leadership contest.

Boris is probably stupid enough to resist but it is quite clear that Brexit got done because of Dominic Cummings and now there is a policy adviser vacuum and Boris has reverted to type, saying and doing stupid things that those around him cannot fix.
