He was and fought Klitschko. Decent record but a bit powder puff.

I once hugged the 3rd oldest tree in Europe. I didn’t really feel any special energy. There was a natural spring nearby which has water from the gods though.

Been confirmed Charlie Wyke did not have a vaccine so his collapse can't be related to that <ok>
Also hasn't tested positive for COVID at any time so isn't related to that either <ok>.

So that one is just an unfortunate circumstance and freakishly coincidental that its happened around the time of the increases. Great that he came out and confirmed the situation to stop those spreading rumour as fact. Confirms once again that we need to stay vigilant with the screening of players (and wider). The whole thing with Wyke is freakish. Weirdly the guy who saved his life is the same guy who saved Muamba's - Jonathan Tobin. What's the ****ing chances of that. A real life hero with two guys able to walk around living because of his quick thinking actions.

    Slightly faulty logic there.

If he’s not had a vaccine we can be sure his heart trouble is unrelated to the vaccine.

If he’s not tested positive that’s no certain indication he’s not had it. It makes it less likely, but there are plenty of people who didn’t take a test (or who had a false negative) who’ve had an infection.

That’s not to say it is definitely related - in fact it’s now less likely. But just a neat little example of someone twisting logic to fit their own biases.

I stuck me knob in it and a squirrel bit me bollocks, also had a p!ss in the nearby natural spring. It's good to embrace nature after a few beers, it cleanses the soul.

I quite clearly wasn't twisting anything, just reporting what the club did that he had no vaccine and none of his tests have come back positive. I don't know the exact testing regime of the players but I'd imagine its at least twice a week so its probably highly unlikely but not impossible that he's had COVID. One of the most tested guys going, never had any symptoms or felt he's had COVID, I'd say on the balance of probability he hasn't but that's just what the club reported. Take that up with the club if you have a problem with it. I think its a bit tragic to be looking for a way to link it to an infection. The bloke has had a very unfortunate circumstance thrust upon him, its not a COVID point scoring situation. I think its a neat little example of someone losing the plot.

Maybe stay away from these threads if you've gone so stir crazy on the whole subject you're getting triggered by nothing. You seem almost unwell mentally when the subject is raised to be honest. I get it as its affecting your personal situation directly but I don't think that means you should run around acting like a ****. To twist that innocent commentary (which is just literally passing on the info the club did) is a bit weird behaviour wise. Time to have a look at yourself. The bottom line is vaccination is not mandatory, so just get over it and stop letting the subject govern your behaviour.

Lindelof went off for Man Utd clutching his chest, struggling for breath.

I’m not a medic. But he wasn’t beating his heart. It seemed like his lungs.

So he was either winded or he had a worrying health problem.

These players need more medical input because they are basically robots.

Well Rangnick reckons it was a heart scare, struggling to breathe, pains in his chest, and is hoping he’s fit for Brentford Tuesday <laugh> I think he may be being a tad optimistic. Hopefully Phil Jones is fully bedded in by time we play them <cheers>

Alarming how regular it’s happening in all seriousness though. As previous hopefully they are looking into why.

I can’t decide if this is a bigger problem than it is or not. What I mean is the scale and volume of events of this nature.

It seems to be a weekly occurrence and I don’t even recall it happening on this scale. Is it just because it’s in the news or is this a bigger issue.

it’s not just sports people either it’s both health super fit and none sports people and in the stands. An escalation of life’s pressures maybe or stress.

    What is going on?

They won’t just ignore it now. Previously FIFA was nothing to see here, but I think the public awareness of the common incidences will force further investigation.

My immediate reaction was it was more a health awareness thing. We are much more aware of issues, particularly after recent times. But nah just too many in the stands and on the pitch. When happening across different sports like it is and the regularity it becomes in your face. I have no definitive idea why but it must be linked with COVID in some way. Changes in behaviour, COVID infections, vaccines, additional stresses, **** knows plenty has changed and impacted health.

I honestly think its the ****e quality of food everyone has in their diets today. I'm not blaming individuals I'm blaming the food suppliers. I think all this processed, frozen **** and fast food **** we all eat and drink weather its at home or eating out is the answer. I've survived 3 of the ****ing things and seemed to collect stents as a hobby for a while. Granted I've smoked 20 a day for 30 years but was told the smoking wasn't the cause as it was only 1 artery effected. Just think its a problem of modern, more comfortable living.

Our diets are shocking no doubt about that. I think for the general public you have a point, we are getting fatter for sure for instance. But these footballers can't even take a **** without someone governing their fitness and health. They eat ridiculously well. Many of them treat their bodies like temples.

I see Piotr Zielinski came off yesterday for Napoli clutching his chest and reporting breathing difficulties. Napoli said the tests didn't really reveal anything. Its getting really weird with so many super fit sportsmen suffering.

Another factor that comes into play that you will laugh at is how we all relax these days. More and more people will sit in their houses with their feet up playing computer games or watching movies with their feet up for hours on end. A lot of us now have recliners or foot rests or corner sofa's and if like me people sit with their feet up and crossed as in one foot resting on the other shin (Not in a ****ing gay girly way) this can cause blood clots which in turn causes heart attacks.
