Just checked and it does work at the minute. Updates may happen as the booster programme rolls out but businesses will be given 1 weeks notice. On that note boosters are now available to be booked to over 40's who have had the 2nd jab at least 2 months now.
My missus got her 3rd jab this morning, despite breaking her nose she still came back swinging and called me a tw@t. God, I love that woman.
You don't need to have had a vaccine or show a passport. You just have to produce a negative test don't you? So just take a lateral flow on the morning of a game. Bit of a fanny on but not the end of the world.
The good thing is hospitality have just contacted us. Aside from them asking you either to have your card/passport, a negative lateral flow or exemption for COVID, it reminds every **** that if you are ill with anything don't attend the match. I've lost count the number of times I've had some ****er coughing and spluttering next to me over the years. One guy a couple of seasons ago sat and turned to his mate saying "mate I've been up all night chucking and ****ting, I'm touching cloth at any moment man, shouldn't be here" - I thought you're damn skippy you shouldn't you selfish ****er!
All I would say is that for those wanting to just take a lateral flow, make sure you register it with the NHS as you need the email or text, not the actual test itself.
I was just happy I didn't wake up with the ****s or chucking. I doubt it was Chippy, he was sensibly dressed for a start and when I dropped my keys, I never heard "wheeze keys are theeze keys"
*Update* If your a season ticket holder or member - check your e-mails club want you to do a declaration online. **update 2** An e-mail to the club saying "I declare, I hate mackems" doesn't work
They were hardly even checking by the sounds of it. Clubs would have to pay for loads more staff for it to be enforced, ain't happening.
I never seen a single person checked, Was fully expecting to have to show app on the turnstile but nope.
