Not denying it, I just think for the money involved in the transfer fee we could get 2 class youngsters and still be saving a huge amount on the wages.
I have no problem in us buying players from abroad, if we can get the likes of Trippier and Ramsey who have PL experience then I'm over the moon. I don't want us buying any players from domestic PL clubs at the minute. **** them. Why help them out? I'd also be treating their smarmy board members with utter contempt when they travel up to SJP. hospitality would include bread and water and make them feel as unwelcome as a fart in a space suit. Any player the likes of Spurs get linked with I'd go in and start a bidding war off for then pull out at the last minute once the price has sky rocketed, screw their FFP over big style. I honestly think minus the likes of Barca/Madrid/Bayern/Dortmund/PSG players from other leagues will be fair game.
