Yeah, but if cases rise by 300% every 24 hours you're soon looking at numbers that are out of control.

Or if cases rise by 2 every 24 hours then it's not such a problem

My issues isn't the cases or how many they rise by, it's the scaremongering way in which they are reported

Its not such an issue if its two every 24 hours but its the exponential growth that they're concerned about because that's how airborne viruses tend to work.
The papers do tend to overhype things but the scientists don't. You just have to listen to them.

If you have got the pass in the app it should be fixed. Would recommend downloading an offline copy in case people can't get a signal at a large event...

I know all that. The point I'm making is the careless way the numbers are reported.

As it stands there are believed to be zero hospitalisations with the new variant and many media sources are reporting that whilst this strain is more transmissible, the effects are far milder but no-one is reporting any of that

I thought that was fairly widely known to be fair. They're saying that even with the milder disease the increased transmissibilty could still result in similar numbers of hospitisations.

The behaviour of no 10 was a disgrace and I am as disgusted as anyone. However , two wrongs do not make a right. A second wrong here of copying their lack of safeguarding could be very much welcomed by covid who will not be slow to take advantage. I for one , although angry at doing so , will retain my dignity and be seen to be doing the right thing. Those who want to say they won’t follow the guidance because of the no 10 idiots , come down to their level, and lose the right to criticise them .

Not really, it's the same bullshit as before. It's amazing that even now, nearly two years on from 'two weeks to flatten the curve' and with the introduction of digital health passports to 'allow' you your basic freedoms as a human being, your suspicions aren't roused in the slightest. In March 2020 I panicked a little and felt greatly concerned about what I was hearing, more for my family than anything else, but it didn't take long for me to recognise it as a play. These people just throw out any old nonsense and you fall for it, hook, line and sinker, no doubt because you're an unthinking automaton like everyone else.

What was the deal with the Chinese propaganda videos we saw, showing people literally dropping down in the streets?
When did you last hear about Nightingale Hospitals and why haven't they been better utilised to house the apparently-huge numbers of people falling ill?
Why have the common cold and influenza seemingly disappeared?
Why are you afraid of a virus that manifests no symptoms in most who contract it?
What happened to the other variants that were going to ravage us?
Why has there been so little airtime given to the people who identified the 'Omicron' variant, who say if anything it is milder still than even the original?
Why did the World Health Organisation change its definition of immunity on its official website, to imply it was only possible via vaccination and not naturally?
Why is this virus apparently UNIQUE amongst ALL respiratory illnesses in being highly dangerous, but also easily-stopped with a piece of cloth over the mouth?
Why have all of the major players in government been caught out, breaking their own rules and doing as they please? Are they not party to the best information?
Why weren't international flights and other arrivals stopped, to prevent the spread of the virus?
Why do you trust the medical advice of the same companies manufacturing billions of pounds worth of 'vaccine' when they tell you that you need one?

    So many questions, Chunky

Can’t believe I voted for this ****ing clown. Actually I can as the alternative was Jeremy Corbyn.

I’d vote for Starmer in a heartbeat.

    26 Nov 2021
    New Cases 2,828
    7 Day Average 3,863

    6 Dec 2021
    New Cases 6,381

    As above . . . . Oliver's Army's post

The new measures are expected to come into effect at the Stadium of Light on Thursday 30th December when Sunderland AFC host Sheffield Wednesday in Sky Bet League One.

Supporters are advised that Saturday’s game against Plymouth Argyle will NOT be subject to the new protocols, but
fans are encouraged to continue following public health guidance and wear face coverings on public transport and in crowded areas to reduce the spread of the virus.

Measures are expected to be in place when SAFC travel to Ipswich Town on Saturday 18th December and Arsenal on Tuesday 21st December.

SAFC remains in dialogue with the EFL and the local authorities, and further information will be communicated in due course.

So many questions that me as an "unthinking automaton" like myself couldn't possibly answer.

Guess I will just have to listen to those stupid science people or maybe listen to the advice from family members that work in the nhs.

Unless you care to enlighten me with the answers?

The answers to most of the ones you asked in your previous post can be found by looking at credible sources such as the BMJ. The truth is out there. And its not hard to find.

Oh, you've convinced me. The medical and scientific communities and every government in the world are all lying to us. They're all in cahoots with Bill Gates, who has planted microchips in us via the vaccine, on behalf of the lizard people who live in a lair at the centre of the earth. Of course they're only doing it because they're bored of riding round on Shergar and listening to Lord Lucan's stories.

Get a load of this guy <laugh>

I ask a few questions, he claims they've been answered without actually answering them, then tries to make me look mad by rambling about a dead horse <laugh>

Mate, you're the one that doesn't believe in Covid. I don't even need to try.
