In short, no. Newcastle's best bet is to do a Barton with him in January; free transfer, though not released.

I think we should have little tolerance for this kind of crap and simply turf him out. We've only been in the media for good things recently and Ranger looks past salvation. Good potential, but at what cost?

If he wants to play the Balotelli/Barton role of talented but attention-seeking moron I say we need to get rid of him - things are going well and it needs to stay that way.

 

To be fair, this story broke a while ago (this is just him being officially charged as opposed to being suspected of drink driving) but I agree, he's a ****ing idiot which ever way you try and dress it up AND not in a funny Mario Ballotelli way!

I presumed it was the ironic 'street' spelling of learn...

 

He has talent and when he came on as sub a few times he was unlucky not to score.

If he doesnt sort himself out he is going to blow his chance but I want that chance to be at another club. We are in the newspapers for the right reasons and it makes a change to have postive press instead of negative press.

 

Someone from the January 2011 clique will tell you how to change the header; they're a clever lot............LOL

Exactly, to me Balotelli is a troublemaker in an adorable way - like a little kid failing at something in a cute way:

I love Mario and love that hat. As Protein say's even though he can be a bad boy there's something about him you cant help but like.

 

We've got a fantastic togetherness and spirit in the first team, reserves, and U-18's. Ranger is the only one I can see eroding that spirit. He needs to go. A real shame as he showed real potential in our Championship season and at times last season. But when he started v Villa last season he was terrible.

Balotelli is hilarious, at least he's creative in terms of the things he gets himself in bother for, Ranger is just a tit. I say get rid.

Knew about this when the story first broke. It's quite evident that he won't change and will continue to act like a complete fool.

Agree, sell him or let him go for free. If found guilty then sack him - won't be a miss and won't do anything for anybody else
