I’m one of the ones with splinters up my arse. I get all the arguments that “better the devil you know” & all the upheaval a new manager brings. I’ve said many times before I do believe there probably are other rough managerial diamonds out there but that’s not my job to find nor did it have a caveat about that within the poll. And I do agree, even if there are, we’d be in serious danger of picking another Pellegrino. That said; Ralph’s record regarding 2nd half performances, lost points from winning positions is abysmal. Yes maybe not all his fault but being the gaffer, needs to address & I don’t see any improvements. Yes, I’m sure a senior #2 would help but I get the feeling he’s very stubborn & regards it as a failing now. Someone said earlier about getting the best out of squad & he’s not (purely because of the above 2 stats). He needs to adapt better; use subs better. Potter took a gamble with 3 early subs & risked going down to 10 with an injury. Haven’t checked but I’m pretty sure that’s rarely on Ralph’s agenda. Love his passion but that’s definitely not enough. Very surprised at his post match reaction Saturday & not surprised by player comments, including captain! A few weeks ago there was a “let’s see what next 5 games brings” & I thought he just about did ok. The 2x 1-0 wins helped enormously but were a tad fortunate. Leeds could have easily sneaked a draw & although pretty comfortable against AV, a “BHA ****up” could have easily happened. Wolves, Norwich & BHA were so disappointing. Better use of subs & tactical changes would have provided at least 4 more points. That’s my disappointment with Ralph. Ps. and if Tino gets burnt out, get ready for the flack Ralph.

Would anyone have Big Sam as Ralph's assistant?

Looks like the press haven't really picked up on this announcement, instead picking up on Willy Cab signing. Seems odd.

It's not odd because it was utter bollocks from some stupid skate ****. Ralph isn't going anywhere.

I think this was a case of where sarcasm is not easily represented in an online forum

I mean, the first sign that it was nonsense should have been the bit where it suggested that Gao was taking an active hand in the running of the club. I'm not confident that he could identify Sam Allardyce from a lineup consisting solely of him, a lilac bush and a 1959 Lincoln Continental.

    In. No, wait ... out.

Sorry, what was the question? Ralf who?

    Oh, right.

    Er, out. Definitely out.

Or, conceivably, in. Certainly one of the two.

    I'm a bit 50-50. AC-DC ... but not in that way. Probably.

Ralf? Isn't that an Americanism for vomit? Vomit is an anagram of Vimto. I like Vimto. Warmed up, it's better than Ribena. Then again, it's better than Ribena cold, too.

Fizzy Ribena, is that a thing? If not, why not? Frankly, it needs some serious marketing dollars spent on it.

I blame Ralf. Whoever he is.

Wasn't he on the Simpsons? The son of some ancillary character? Fireman or cop or something?

Ralf, ralf ... ralf. Starting to look weird now. Could be my dyslexia. Unlikely, though. I don't have dyslexia. Dyspepsia, maybe, but not dyslexia. Then again, how would I know? Like my Grandma, it's relative.

There once was a wise old man who said, 'A parrot will talk crap and sh1t down your back.' I'm not sure that's relevant, but there you go. Sometimes spitballing works wonders. Spitballing. Another Americanism. Like route, but pronounced like rout. Which is wrong. Seriously, if you say router and it doesn't rhyme with hooter then you are a lost soul. Or an American. Which, let's be fair, is one and the same thing.
