So hold on, Liverpool buy him and don't give him a chance... so he's ****? Messi probably wouldn't score when hes on the bench either. Laughable.

He nearly won it at the end...

It's Liverpool's fault for paying so much!

Rely too much on Gerrard when things go against them but he is getting on a bit now and can't keep bailing them out.

Best bit of business I think Newcastle United have ever, and will ever do.

Does his run in the side in the first few games of the season not count as a chance to your eyes?

He hasn't really had a chance TBF. I think Dogleash wants him on to score a few from the bench and get his confidence up, but he's not going to do that getting ten minutes here and there. As someone else said; best bit of business we'll ever do.

Their own fault for buying a player that they refuse to apadt their system for. If I'd paid £35m for a player I'd be building the team around him not trying to slot him into a system he can't and will never perform in!

How many times would Henderson and Carroll have to link up to earn their 55 million price-tag? I truly had a lot of belief that Andy would become a star (The Killers reference originally not intended), but he's got no confidence left, no sign of passion, and the players around him don't complement his game. I don't think he'll ever reach his potential in that side.

Carroll wasn't really a £35m buy for them, he was effectively a part exchange for Torres (Carroll + £15m for Torres). But still nice to see things not going well for the money grabbing gypsy.

Never has been and never will be worth £35m, although he is a very quality player and Liverpool fans can **** off saying he is ****

Yeah this is it, we did amazingly to get 35m but Liverpool's owners said to spend whatever as long as they get 15m more for Torres. Doesn't make it any less funny to watch him fail though, they could have saved a lot of cash if they'd gone for somebody else.

No, I wouldn't even take him back on a free if it were up to me.
