to dod this time after time
I'm not as convinced as you. I don't believe that the players just decide themselves time after time to drop off at 1-0, I just don't. That has to come from the manager, and if not then how has NP not stopped it? NP doesn't strike me as the type of manager who would stand for players doing this repeatedly against his direction.

In his post match interview Wayne Rooney singled out Chris Martin as our best player.

It's strange that once we take a 1-0 lead we do exactly the same thing...........sit back and allow them to control possession!!

Should it become the case that the transfer window is designed to alter our lineup allowing us to play a more pressing game then I'm on board. However if we end up playing the same style, but with different participants, then I would probably give up all hope of us ever going anywhere because essentially we would be spinning our less than appropriate wheels exactly as we have done over the last 15 years. Perhaps one sunny day I might wake up and find that BCFC truly know what they are doing and all these less than stellar years were a joke - was that a pig going past my window?

The transfer window will show me the direction in which we are heading and will point out whether or not I wan't to continue doing the same thing year in and year out expecting a different outcome. That statement is attributed to some as the definition of insanity.

No, only since NP took over it’s kicked in with this level of regularity so early in games. I get it it with 20 mins or less to go.

He made 1 mistake he missed a sitter, something you said earlier in the season didn't matter because it was all about the team performance, Wells and Weimann have missing chances all season.

I could only be arsed to check back from February 2020 to the end of the season. 17 games and 5 times we took the lead and couldn't hold on to that lead. 5 times we failed to score at all, we managed to win 4 games.

Never said he wasn't any good did I? you just like to make things up for an argument as usual............
Seems you have a bad vibe towards Weimann...you have had from the beginning of the season...yet he's our top scorer, one of very few players that try's to press and close down and you want him dropped <doh> ...says it all.....

Another narrow home victory and a continued failure to put yet another game to bed
But we are distancing ourselves further from the bottom 3 and are edging slowly towards 50 points and safety, and for me, this season, that may have to do.
The next 3 look tough games

could be as low as 50 already 5pt gap and 75 pts to play for should we manage 7 wins 5 draws 13 losses we would be on 52 points ... I reckon we will win 8 more games from the 25 so basically safe or playing with a new manager ................... !

I think it's been proved that all games in this league are tough. Even Barnsley have lost 6 by the odd goal and have drawn 7, Derby have had some notable results which has almost put them in a plus position, Hull, Birmingham, Cardiff and Swansea have all recovered from poor starts to the season and from 3rd in the table downwards nobody has got a great record to be fair.

We have thrown away around 12 points this season so far from either winning or drawing positions and always because of missed chances and individual defensive mistakes. But I suspect all of the teams from 3rd downwards can point to the same thing.

For me in January we need another right back option, another midfielder, 2 strikers and possibly another wide player. It would be a bonus if we could move on Wells (who again did little or nothing on Saturday) and Palmer and maybe if Atkinson is not fully fit and Baker is going to be out for a while look to bring back Taylor Moore to give us cover, he is spending a lot of the time on the bench at Hearts.

I'm still unsure why we don't involve Palmer more, has NP & him fallen out? Rescued a point with a really good goal v Fulham....I know many don't like him on here (apart from me) but should be considered an option even if it's off the bench.....IMO better than Bakinson (who I know is learning) all day long...

He has had more than enough chances and has been shockingly poor, he even failed at Swansea, if he has fallen out with Pearson then it's for the same reason that LJ stopped playing him and Holden couldn't wait to get shot of him, my understanding is his attitude and he is a poor trainer, have heard this from multiple people.

I think if 4 different managers have basically come to the same conclusion then the odds are that it's a player problem and not a Pearson problem.

PS:- Ipswich might be good next move for him, at least he'll know a few people there, make it easier to settle in quickly.

Poor?? You keep on about the misses we make in front of goal, yet he gets one from off the bench to rescue us a point v Fulham....."Your having enough chances", don't make sense....What does failing at Swansea have anything to do with it?

I don't expect it to make any sense to you because you are right and 4 managers must be wrong. Wells came off the bench and scored one Bakinson has scored one as well big deal, ODowda has scored one but still not at anywhere near his best but at least he is putting in 100% that is clear for all to see. Failing at Swansea shows a pattern.

But hey you are right. I mean what would 4 different league managers know?

So by not playing him is a way of saying he's failing?.....yeah that's makes sense.<doh>.......same sense that O'Dowda is not consistent when he's not playing.<doh> same sense to dropping our top scorer <doh>..........I really should know better, than to ask you your opinion <laugh>

So 4 managers have found him out at least 3 of them not only when playing him but also on the training ground and think he is not good enough but Pep Onefer disagrees, ergo he must be right?

Close to 70 appearances in 4 years for Palmer, ODowda injured himself after 10 minutes of first game of the season after returning from 4 months of injury from last season and treatment from Ashton's rehab torture chamber.

Try polishing the turds who give a ****.

I suspect you are totally on your own with this one, but rule 1 you must still right.
