So I met @BackO'TheNet last night at my gig. Lovely fella and it was lovely to have him at my gig. Love meeting forum folk. Great to catchup with you and hope to meet a few more over time. I bumped into a lad from RTG called JonnoTheMackem at Spurs. We'd spent 6 months arguing like cat and dog about the Chinese The basis of my argument was that the Chinese aren't actually a great bunch of lads. He worked out there and married a Chinese lass so was quite defensive ... they ended up spending the weekend with us at the Sheikh's place
Well I knew your band name (Revolver) @marcus. For many years I've helped the landlord liase with his bookings throughout the year, in respect of the type of music sets which circuit bands perform. He always asks the locals for their opinions and we give him the nod who we would like to return...simples! It was a nice to meet you and the band, and your good wife too. It was kind of her to ask me to come over to join you during your first half interval. Yep....life can be good sometimes. Your review from the locals included - When are they back?....Great banter!....Very animated lead guitarist....Good set. Come back soon mate!
Revolver. Sure I saw a band if that name in the Gibside Arms in Whickham years ago. Might even have been made up of members of Ice Breaker who were excellent.
