The way you get shot down when you dare to suggest that we should consider our options you could be forgiven for thinking that.

I’ve never really been given an answer to this, what is an acceptable outcome for our current squad? If the answer is, about 14thish, then why on Earth would we change direction? If it’s European football, then please resume taking the medication. God, Allah and Yahweh themselves wouldn’t have this team making Europe this year, (we use Theo Walcott lads. I mean ****s sake) so why not at least have consistency until we’re under new ownership and then reevaluate then? Changing the manager is a really significant thing. More significant than it’s usually regarded.

Except the person who was being replied to did not suggest any options

“suggesting we should consider our options” - that is just weak. To seriously suggest spending a large sum of money we don’t really have to sack our manager requires a sensible proposal of who could bring in that would effectively be worth double what we actually have to pay him (due to the pay off )

Who is out there that will come and make a big enough difference to justify that outlay with our current squad ?

So I have to come up with the solution, or I can’t suggest that the current manager isn’t working?

Read that back to yourself. Dick head.

Oooh boy howdy this is some irrational exuberance that we’re showing in regard to a 1:1 against a team which is actually good! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I actually disagree with those that think we should stick with Ralph because he will keep us safe in 14th. We are faaar better than the results would suggest. If we have seen out even a couple of the most frustrating results (eg norwich and brighton) we would be comfortably in the top ten and well within reach of europe. The players need to find the extra 1% and Ralph needs to find a way to help prevent the capitulation which has become such a pattern now. I think all of them are good enough to do that.

Oh, See, that isn't a discussion. If you can't make an argument or point to specific things that aren't working for you then resorting to calling people dickheads isn't going to work.

I like our squad but I don’t think we’re far better than where we are right now. AM is not a top half goalkeeper. I’d trade most clubs in the league for their No. 1. I like our defence and midfield but the attacking combinations are pretty new and need time to peak. We need more goals and that’s pretty obvious and was always the danger in selling Ings. I think we’ll get better as the year goes on but obviously if both keepers are ****ed then that’s a rare occurrence that nobody can really mitigate or account for. Life happens.

I’m sorry I’ve just had enough of dealing with stupid people at the moment. I’m normally more patient.

Surely you can see what you said made little sense? As a fan you can criticise as much as you like, we’re not expected to supply a list of answers.

I’m not actually saying I think he should be sacked, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the club are considering options. I don’t know who we should be looking at, my knowledge of British managers isn’t great and I have no idea about European football.

"I’m sorry I’ve just had enough of dealing with stupid people at the moment.....As a fan you can criticise as much as you like...."

And yet five minutes ago you were claiming that you weren't allowed to criticise on this board and that you get shot down (which is such a tedious, untrue perspective).

    Which one is it?

People disagreeing with your point of view isn't shooting you down/stopping you from saying something. As you say, you can criticise as much as you like, just as people can disagree with your criticism.

But if people disagree with you, they're dickheads and stupid?

Yeah I was scrolling through the results since the start of the season and evaluating. For me Wolves, we let slip, should've had a point (maybe 3), Norwich should have been foregone at halftime and brighton same. That's 7 points that we dropped by narrow margins/silly mistakes. That would have us sitting around 7th so when I say we are far better, that's what I'm saying. A bit more resilience and ruthlessness is the difference maker. Pundits and other fans that havent really watched us play seem to think we are relegation fodder, performances should have had us in european spots but just. keep. falling. short!

Actually yesterday someone said I was talking bollocks because I suggested that Ralph’s days may be numbered. It’s not a crazy statement is it? I would say that is shooting someone down, there’s no invite for discussion is there?

Yes I said you should be able to criticise as a fan, I don’t see how I have contradicted myself there?

I didn’t call them a dickhead because they disagree with me. I called them a dickhead because they suggested that you shouldn’t criticise the manager without having a shortlist of replacements.

By the way, I’m allowing the name calling that has recently occurred, but no more please.

Next one gets a thread ban.

Maybe explain why you don't think it's bollocks? That's what would invite discussion.
