Are you a member of the Leeds United Supporters Group on Facebook? If you are Firpo is getting hammered. I don’t join in as I do believe it’s wrong on Social Media.

To suggest the BBC is anti Firpo is bewildering mate, they don’t vote, the FANS vote. I’m not trying to change your or anyone’s opinion on Firpo, he was to blame for the goal, he has been a waste of money, that’s my honest opinion.

You tried to justify your opinion on Firpo based on ONE guys scoring on Leeds Live, I pointed out the BBC fans vote, you try and discredit it maybe not realising it’s the fans and not one pundits opinion <ok>

No no no mate and I dont get involved in any online sites to do with Leeds besides this. I say it as i see it and I thought he played well end of story. I also said Roberts played well for the 3rd game on the bounce and remember I am his biggest critic. So not having you tell me I base my judgement on any old bollox clickbait site.

    Fair enough, I took it that you were justifying Firpo had a good when you said;

The big problem here is that Leeds Live gave Firpo a 7, Bamford a 7, Roberts a 7 and everyone else 6 and down. So although loads of fans hate Firpo he was having a good game irrespective of what people think.”

Doesn’t matter we move on to next week and hopefully they’ll be no debate about anyone being good or bad and it will be a slap on the back and congratulations all round

Firstly it seems most of you weren't able to see our starting formation today. That's not a criticism as watching on a dodgy stream it's virtually impossible to see how the whole side is set up.

So, we played 3 at the back...Ayling, Llorente & Cooper and then 2 wing backs in Dallas & Firpo. When Cooper got injured that's why Harrison came on as left wing back and Firpo moved inside to left centre of defence. It was quite strange though as first Klich was stripped to come on and then the decision was changed in favour of Harrison.

We then had Phillips & Forshaw as the 2 in midfield and a front 3 of James, Tyler & Raphinha.

First half we completely dominated and deservedly went in one up at the break and similar to Spurs it seemed to be a Bielsa masterclass. The thing is other managers have talent too and so it proved as Brentford were far more on the front foot second half. They pushed bodies further forward and got the reward of 2 good goals by being in those advanced positions. Both goals were highly preventable but we didn't deal with scenarios as they presented themselves and paid the price. You couldn't help thinking that had Cooper been on the field he would have somehow got a block in.

After taking the lead Brentford reverted to sitting in and kept an excellent defensive shape. Put simply we had no answers and the game meandered towards a defeat with the only team looking likely to score being Brentford on the break.

It's full credit to our team that they just kept pushing and forced a last gasp equaliser.

That's 4 points this week and also the 3rd time we've scored in added time this season at ER.

Posters questioning Bielsa's decision are hilarious.
What qualifications do you have to tell him he's wrong?
Firpo had a good game today as did Roberts, again. I think you should consider that maybe Bielsa does actually know what he's doing.
We know how we struggle without Kalvin or do you have short memories?
I get fed up reading the Forshaw, Cooper, Firpo, Roberts and now Bielsa hate.
You guys need to take a pill and relax because it's going to be a rollercoaster ride but I'll take it any day rather than Scunthorpe away.

It’s a forum mate to discuss all things Leeds. There would be zero discussion if everyone just agreed. When we had Hockaday, Christiansen, or Heckingbottom in charge did you never question their decisions?

The signing of Augustin, to some extent Rodrigo, the fee paid for James and why we’ve ignored the central midfield position for so long, are you suggesting it doesn’t matter just blindly have faith in Bielsa?

As for Qualifications to tell him he’s wrong, many would agree it’s James or Harrison, many would agree James is poor in the central role, it’s all based on what we see with our own eyes, it just doesn’t work.

I honestly felt Bielsa picking players out of position cost us two points yesterday but it’s a forum to discuss things like that. I’m happy if others agree or disagree and I’ll read the replies to everyone who points out the reasons why they think I’m wrong.

A prime example, the post above yours by Jammy, he explained exactly what our shape was, I’m sure many have took those comments on board <ok>

Yes, I liked Jammy's post. I know it's a discussion forum but there's some on it who rarely, if ever, have anything positive to say. It's mostly, if not always, doom and gloom.
All the points you made about players are fan's opinions. I get frustrated with how games are going but I have to trust Bielsa because I believe he knows what he's doing.
I admit I didn't have faith in Hockaday but I think that was justified. He did nothing for us, Bielsa is one of the best Manager's we've ever had IMO.
I understand that we're in with the big boys now so we've got to fight for everything and we are so I'm looking up not down.
I don't think you could pick a player who isn't trying which is all I ask. Bielsa picks the team he thinks will get the result and I trust him.
I'm just saying strap yourself in because it's going to be messy but we got 4 points from grit and determination this week.

Said to my lad half way through the first half. I really haven't a clue what system or formation we are playing.

Mate if you think it's bad on here, go read the MOT forum sometime, this is a haven of positivity in comparison.
Or rather it was when I stopped posting on there and that was last March/ April when we were doing well, hate to imagine what it's been like on there this season.

If you see me questioning Bielsa it’s for debate, I do 100% get frustrated with him at times but I agree 100% he is one of the best ever. Not just performances on the pitch but everything from how the media views us to the youth set up.

He might not have the trophies of Revie and Wilko but what he has turned us into is just short of a miracle. Revie and Wilko were also on a much more even playing field in the top flight, without the big finances it’s so unbalanced.

I do believe though that he has a stubbornness that makes him great but sometimes hinders us too. It wasn’t noticed so much at Championship level

Yes i agree posters can put what they like. No one has the right to tell anyone what their views should be. We should have won that game.
