He came over one game to watch the delayed coverage
At two nil down I gave him his beer at half time
    We won 3 2 I think
He knew stoke hadn't won before he came over but didn't say anything

No Albert. No Moses. Don't know if we are playing 4 at the back with Kakay and Barbet the full backs, or 3 as normal and Kakay and Willock or someone else at LWB. Willock has played there before.

    Field is a CB..
Think it is 3 at back with Kakay and Barbet as wing backs.

    Either way bare bones

Mmm...I would have thought probably 4-3-3, but it could be Willock at left wing back again.
    Really, really hope not!

Yup. Would rather 4-3-3 with Willock concentrating on his attacking

The choice of 1st team players is better than expected. Am confused as to the formation, especially the Left Wingback position.

It could a flat back four in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 formation?

I guess MW will try to stick with the three centre backs

Will be interesting to find out.

Field is a midfielder normally defensive, but can and has played at CB for us, not nearly as well as he played DCM though. I like the look of the potential midfield of Field, Dozzel and Johansen. And if Willock is getting forward a lot at LWB as would be likely, Field should be ideal at covering him there if he is back to his old form.

It won't be a three man midfield if we're playing with wing backs.

Gray must feel a bit aggrieved not starting after his super-goal.

I think the plan is for Charlie to physically tire the defence, then Gray to be the Sub in the 2nd half and be more pacy.

For me, it is a sensible tactic.

Only the team and coaches know, but one of the options is 5 3 2, probably my choice without knowing much about Stoke these days.

True. We could go with 5-3-2.
Fascinated to see how we line up now.
