I’m a white male too, albeit one that has experienced some racism though not as much as I expect I would have as a black guy living the same life I do.

A black guy is far more likely to be stopped and searched for no reason. More likely to be punished more harshly should he be convicted of the same offence as a white guy. He’s three times more likely to be unemployed. If he works hard, does well at school and gets the same top grades as white students, he’s less likely to progress to the top of his profession/academic field.

The fact Lammy and Dianne Abbott, for all the disproportionate derision, have beaten the odds more than most isn’t evidence of anything IMO.

 

The stop and search figures have come up before. The MET do more than half the stop and search so the national figures are misleading. The ethnic mix in London is much more diverse in London with only about half identifying as white. In Newham for example it's under 30%. Black people do get stop and searched the most out of all ethnic groups, including white, Chinese, mixed and Asian. If you look at arrest figures, Black people have the highest rate per 1000 in every area of the country.
The way you look at the figures you see racism. I look at it and ask why are so many more Black people committing crimes?
Black kids perform better than white kids at school but they're both poor compared to other ethnicities.
I do not believe that every Police Officer who stops a Black suspect is racist, in fact, in these times the Police have to balance their stop and search stats. The figures show that more Black people are arrested so are committing more crimes.
Would you like to defund the Police?

 

Since the start of the pandemic there has been the greatest wealth transfer in history.
I believe we have serious problems with the Capitalism of the West but is there any way, realistically, to make it work? Is there even an alternative?
The current system has raised the average age someone might die incredibly through advances in medicine and treatment.
Innovation and invention has made our lives more secure and comfortable but at what price?
Is it fair that Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk have enough money to fly off into space just because they do something lots of people like?
The super rich have all the influence and have more than enough resources to fight back any attempts to redistribute what they have.
They also control the message.
It is only my opinion but Pfizer is robbing the world blind over Covid. It's the most capitalist reaction to the pandemic.
The Politicians aren't going to go after them because it's like turkeys voting for Christmas (whatever side you support)

Some or all of this may have been covered amongst Roger’s various semi-literate arguments with himself in the posts since.looking for a bite again, i don't give him the lickings of a dog personally as Ive seen too many of his snidey types, Business management theorem call it the carrot and donkey approach, only in this case he is the donkey, they look to butter one up with praise hoping that they in turn will influence the rest to give him an easy time, so he can do what he came for, cause ructions looking for anyone to call him so he can try and close the thread by crying to mods he has been grievously offended by racial slurs, when we all know he is just a **** and should be ignored or goaded if preferred. Most of these type don't like plain speak, and go out or their way not to swear, so as to try and take the moral high ground, i on the other hand prefer plain speak so they know where they stand which narks them to hell.

Good evening people, Christmas is almost upon us, a time to spend with family and loved ones, especially ageing parents, as it could be their last, i know a few friends who didn't spend christmas with their parents and they have since passed away, a couple because of covid, the hospitals were too concerned with being overwhelmed so these poor people weren't seen quick enough and sadly succumbed to other ailments, cancer being one of them.
I'd like to ask a question to some of our posters on here, especially the ones who were **** scared of the batflu, and the constant fearmongering by the msm, did you abide by fat lying bastard Boris's rules last year and spend your Xmas alone and not seeing your family?
As a some of you know, i've never bought this bullshit, yes there is a virus, i'm not denying that, but i have always ignored anything this government have told me to do regarding lockdowns etc, i had a good Xmas last year got together in a lock in with a good few like minded mates at a couple of pubs i frequent, and partied with most of my family at my house, unfortunately not my mother who passed away earlier in the year because she didn't receive the treatment she deserved, so after tonights shocking revelation and leaked video of the government taking the absolute piss out of the country with their party last year at No10, many journalist in attendance surprise surprise
The sickening sight of press secretary laughing and taking the piss at a rehearsal press conference is a disgrace and heads must roll.
So, with another possible banning of Christmas this year, will those who did as they were told be good people and do as you are told again, because, as Boris and the behavioural scientists told you, its very deadly, be afraid, be very afraid
