I would hope we are in for him anyway. We only have the 3 fit CB's, and De Wyjs seems to be out injured more often than he can play.

 

Dykes definitely out again, Wallace a doubt. Austin hasn't trained all week after receiving a bang to his knee. Dozell, Johansen, Odebajo and Adomah all received knocks during the Derby game too and are being assessed ! Ffs could be without quite a few, not good.

If all of those players haven't trained we could be in trouble Sunday.

 

Given the limited resources available we took a chance on some very fragile players in the last few windows. Those chickens are now coming home to roost sadly. When the three amigos go off to the ACON right before the Bournemouth game we are going to be seriously stretched. Of the current sick list Wallace is the one I most like to see make a quick recovery as his recent performances have been a revelation but of course he appears to be the most fragile of all.

BTW it's not improved my mood to be reminded of how Stoke shafted us with Mike Sheron all those years ago. Definitely up there with the biggest flops even to don the hoops.

 

Is there any hope that this news is partially designed as mind games for the benefit of the opposition or are they all truly crocked?!

 

I'd like to think it's mind games but unfortunately I don't think it is. Dykes, well we all know how I feel about us letting him join up with Scotland when already injured and Wallace we know has hamstrings made of spaghetti. The others aren't hopefully too bad, Johansen had a late fitness test before the Derby game so us obviously carrying a problem. Without Charlie we will have to play Gray which leaves us with 3 midgets up against 3 giants which isn't ideal. Just got to hope we can put out a strong lineup, maybe Field could start fir the first time this season and possibly Amos alongside him !

 

Dykes injury is not mind games...

Dozzell, Gray, Adomeh, Moses maybe just mind games.

Johanson, Wallace and possibly Charlie are worries.

 

There didnt look much wrong with Austin running down the wing and picking out Willock for our 1st at Derby, despite him getting this knock on the knee 1st half according to what I read somewhere.
