From watching on Sky I have come up with the following thoughts and match ratings: Starting 11: Davis - 8 - Fantastic, some excellent saves and a nice little feature on him at the beginning Richardson - 6 - Didn't get forward as much as he would've liked, but put in some good crosses Fonte - 5 - Stupid handball, was very poor in my opinion Hooiveld - 7 - Solid once again at the back, good game I thought. He continues to impress me Fox - 6 - Again made some good runs and crosses but not much more Guly - 6 - All over the place but had a few good touches and nice flick to set up De Ridder Hammond - 5 - We all know he's a much better player and unfortunately it was just a bad day for him... Cork - 4 - Very much the same in my opinion. Didn't shine really until De Ridder came on alongside him Chaplow - 7 - Good game, good runs, only 56 sprinting runs made thought Lambert - 6 - Was very much unnoticed throughout in my opinion Connolly - 6 - Same as above, always chased the ball down though Subs: Martin - 7 - Solid, good game, wouldn't mind seeing him play more. Fonte beware... De Ridder - 9 - My SFC Man Of The Match! Absolutely fantastic and is great to see him make such an incredible impact Schneiderlin - 6 - Not enough time to judge, in my opinion he should have started as he speeds the play up in my opinion, and today that is just what we needed Your thoughts/own ratings! Onwards and Upwards! COYR!

What's happening with Fonte? Is he missing Seaborne? Let's hope it's just a blip as he was one of our best players last season.
Yep I would agree with the original posters ratings and also agreed that Schneiderlin was missed. He was one of the main reasons why we beat West Ham, he gets it and moves it on quickly and to me we just couldn't get it wide enough quickly. Also did anyone notice that they had moved the pitch in by quiet a bit, I guess they didn't want us spraying the ball about and to get in our faces quicker. Good tactic from them.
Davis 8 Richardson 6 Fonte 5 Hooiveld 6 Fox 6 Guly 5 Hammond 5 Cork 6 Chaplow 6 Lambert 6 Connolly 5 Martin 6 Schneiderlin 5 De Ridder 7
Davis 8 Richardson 7 Fonte 5 Hoiveld 7 Fox 8 Guly 4 ( only good thing from him was build up to de ridder goal) Cork 6 Hammond 6 Chaplow 7 ( first touch let him down on countless points) Lambert 6 Connolly 6 Subs Martin 7 De ridder 8 Spiderman not enough game time to apply a rating
Davis 9 MOM for me kept us in the game Richardson 7 Fonte 5 Hoiveld 7 Fox 7 Guly 5 Hammond 2 No excuses for that challenge that got him sent off, could have cost us Chaplow 8 Had a good game for me, involved in most of Saints best moves Cork 6 Lambert 6 Connolly 6 Subs Martin 7 De Ridder 8 - great goal and a constant threat when he came on
Obviously not the same judging on TV than live in person, but hey here goes: Davis 9 Richardson 7 Fonte 5 Hooiveld 7 Fox 6 Guly 4 Hammond 5 Cork 5 Chaplow 7 Lambert 6 Connolly 5
Guys, those slating Hammond with ridiculous low marks should watch the game back. ok he was sent off, but that happens. His challenges were not that bad; the first one was not a booking. He could have been more careful for the second. Up until then, he had been doing okay. I felt cork looked a little out of sorts today, but it happens. We need to get behind these guys.
I'd have agreed with you if Kelvin hadn't been as good as he was and kept us in the match with four good saves.
The first one by itself wasnt a booking but there was an instance before that where he sort of lunged in, and the Reading player had to dive out of the way. These challenges even though there is no contact, quite often end in a booking, so maybe the ref booked him as it was his 2nd reasonably bad foul?
Wrong!!! Kelvin Davis every time, kept us in the game with great saves and commanded the back amazingly!!!
Blimey. Good save from Le fondre in first half, good reactions when reading broke through into box in second half; countless punches and catches from corners. Me thinks you're just not a Kelvin fan
