...for a great pile of ****!

There's a reason why he sits on the bench for 80 minutes!

Don't forget about the 120 million Dogleash spent over the summer either, and Norwich go there and earn a draw. What would everyone have been saying if Hodgson had spent 170 million+ on players in less than a year, and was still failing miserably.

Liverpool are 1-1 with Norwich, and Dogleash takes off Kuyt and brings on Agger, what sort of a substitute is that? Would Fergie or Mourhino make such a daft substitution in a game there sides should be winning.

    Dogleash is clueless

Carroll is awful, I say in January we just cut our losses with him, and then get a goalscorer. Thats why we simply draw too much, because we do not have a genuine goal scorer in the team.

Lets blame Carroll, because he played all of 15mins today. Ridiculous.

Todays problem was that the starting XI didnt finish off the chances they had early on and that the defence is not good enough to hold onto a 1 goal lead.

Carroll hasn't cut the mustard since he arrived in January mate. I'm not pinning the blame on him for today at all, but overall he adds nothing to Liverpool's attack.

What a weight of expectation this guy has on his shoulders. He is only 22, he also didn't price himself at £35 million.

Funny, we're laughing all the way to the bank at the moment.

I wouldn't take Carroll back at all, as his inclusion would resort to us playing awful long-ball style football again, which is the only style which allows him to score goals. He needs balls put on his head. He never has been, and probably never will be, a top player in a passing style game which both of our teams now have. It just isn't his thing.

He'd be better off at Stoke to be honest.

He nearly won it for you, you ****ing fool! If "King Kenny" didn't buy him for such a ridiculous amount, then he wouldn't have such pressure.

He did well when he came on, in my opinion.

Nearly won it though. A top,top striker would've buried it. Who was marking him, Hoolahan, who is smaller than him. He gets a decent header in, but for a top,top striker he needs to be at least getting it on target.

I know Carroll played awfully today! Didn't mark Holt when he scored! Oh wait he only played 15 minutes, to be fair Dalglish is managing him wrong. He scores against Everton then he gets dropped. Andy doesn't put the effort he did up here. If you get him playing to his full potential he will play well, maybe not £35M worth but you have to remember we didn't have time to replace him and we could have got relegated without him and therefore lost 50M, thats why he cost so much.

Carroll isn't a "long-ball" player! He can play football, but his team-mates hoof the ball because of his height.

Daglish is wasting money and some conspiracy theorists such as myself could argue that he is trying to screw Liverpool. Bring back Hodgson!

Well how did Suarez do today? You can't expect Carroll to create miracles in 12 minutes or whatever.

This article is fickle. If he scored you'd be hailing him a qualiy player. Daglish makes the substitution at the wrong time, nut Daglish is "King Kenny" so it's not his fault <doh>

I think the lad is short of confidence. I still believe he will be an important player for Liverpool Football Club in the coming years and just needs some confidence.

Show me any evidence of where he's ever done that?

We played hoof ball, Carroll did well. He went to Liverpool with no hoof ball, and he sucks for the most part.

I haven't seen any evidence that Carroll can play quality passing football, so people claiming he can do it is PURE speculation. He's a bit of a lump of a player in my opinion. Just a big strong fella with little finesse. If you can get the ball on his head he'll get it in the net, or occasionally he'll ****ing wollop it into the goal, but apart from that I have yet to see anything else.
