Tanganga not playing? Is he injured? @humanbeingincroydon didn’t you say Conte said that he’s competing with Romero for a spot? If so he should be palsying tonight shouldn’t he?
£70 a year, about £6 a month for Prime and for another £4 a month access to almost every album ever made on Alexa. Bargain.
He’s on the bench, for some reason Sanchez is getting another chance even after the dismal performance in Slovenia.
It’s better but we still aren’t very easy on the eye it’s still a fairly painful watch. But I suppose if we win that’s really all that matters at this stage
It's so annoying both wing backs should have been booked, and now they have a 2nd chance to make that 'tactical foul' that they should have already been booked for.
Exactly, it seems a small thing but it totally changes the dynamic when you have both of them on yellow cards with son and moura running at them
Can someone else have a go at taking corners, surely we get other people to take them in training? Sonnys are so predictable.
Decent first half. I’ve been impressed with us off the ball, I think we’re striking a good balance between the press and containment. On the ball it’s been more frustrating. We, as everyone knows, lack creativity in the middle. Højbjerg and Skipp are a solid platform but are limited going forward, with Højbjerg particularly guilty of one or two misplaced passes when building through the middle in that half. On the plus side we’re getting the wingbacks into good positions but they’re not producing often enough in those areas. I doubt Conte is learning much this game but it’s working so far.
Strange one. Despite some really boring football at times from both we have looked much better overall. I think we have to count in that Brentford have been really awful though. A slight improvement for us but still reacting rather than being creative in attack.
