With 100mil players I don't know how anyone could possibly cope having to play a player beside them who didn't cost at least 50m8l.

 

I have no sympathy for city, Chelsea or Utd
Those guys have enough depth

not begrudging them their squads
Chelsea are ran well all be it from Romans money but they have a model and it works well for them
Utd are still one of the biggest clubs in the world and generate their income commercially
City got lucky but hey ho
Everyone else is trying to catch those guys financially
So no qualms with city only having 14/15 players
Can only play 11 anyway
Then they have decent youngsters too

It seems to me that mr Guardiola just wants to have a game off like last year as a wee rest for his hard partying superstars. Maybe if they wore thier mask and got vaccinated they wouldn't have so many "injuries"

The only reasonable reaction to comments like this from Pep is to point and laugh.

 

Also Citeh have defended their spending in the past by saying they didn't have the youth to move to the first team as their academy had been uninvested in the years prior to the owners coming in. And that it would take time to see that improve and HG players come through.

Well the owners have been there over 10 years now. About time that Academy started to pay off, they should have the youngsters to cover the 1st team by now.
So far only Foden is the only real product.

 

you'd wonder for sure as chelsea have managed it easily using and abusing loan system but the sign over the top of kids

its actually nearly ten years since city built their academy which is worth more than bournemouth FC LOL supposedly cost between £150m and £200m just for that!!!!

 

still remember when they played Burton Albion in LC SF that their academy stadium had a bigger capacity than Burtons Pirelli stadium .
