    Probably get about 10/15 million max, based on his old Newcastle form and his potential.

    Anzhi offered 43 million in the summer if you believe the press. We'd be lucky to get half that now.

    what a load of dross a so called £35 mil striker sitting on the bench against a team who have more non league players 2 years ago than they had regular league 1 players playing today.its a total f**k up.

    I found it hard to believe too but even the pundits at the time were talking about it as fact and I think it was in one of the broadsheets. Doesn't make it true I know but it wasn't just a bit of gossip from 'tribalfootball' or one of those sites

    Yup. Let's just blame him for the draw though both goals were before he came on. 10 minutes and the only one you want to blame is Carroll? How about Kuyt for being sloppy? Adam for being subpar most of the game? How about Johnson for shooting from distance and wasting a great opportunity to score in the 90th? No, you're right. It's much easier to blame a player who missed once from a difficult chance on his second touch of the game.

    Real fans we are.

    He is definitely still worth £15m.

    Torres is worth around £45m mainly due to shirt sales
