See my issue with the handball one was this. It's not a penalty if your arms in a natural position is the rule they go off? Since when is an arm on the ground in a natural position?
I think we will be surprised, I also think Staveley was very clever with the "upwards of £250m over 5 years" comment. At no point did she state £50m a year.
Yes it could be spend on a big chunk but not in January. It's just a case of buying 3 or 4 run of the mill players
That's where I've been going wrong, see I thought only the keeper was allowed to be lying down and handling the ball.
It isn’t I guess: but having said that was it a natural position for someone who is sliding and at a split second and it just so happens to hit his hand. I don’t know how he would have even known it would hit his hand in the situation it was in. I would have been annoyed if it was against us.
But if it was us, a penalty would probably been awarded after a 5 min VAR check If it balances out over a season we have a lot coming our way
There's no consistency. Brentford got a pen for something we didn't 6months or so earlier. Infact, ours was more of a pen since the Brentford player ducked a bit
I don’t think we are getting any decisions off referees. Some of the fouls against ASM early on where definite free kicks and they where ignored. Our three penalty claims of which I reckon at least one was a penalty.

You could ask CC as well as I seem to recall CC didn’t think the Longstaff incident was a penalty either.
There is actually an answer to this one. The top one I believe he kicked the ball. The bottom one he didn’t. Having said that both are penalties.
There are a couple of other reasons aswell. He’s standing on a line. He closed his eyes so it doesn’t hurt as much. The referee believed he deserved it for his future **** tash he now has. It wasn’t Shelvey so it’s his own fault.
