That's the date they were hoping it would be agreed by, which it was (actually a fair bit before, things really picked up late October/early November). The completion and hand over of keys can't happen until EFL ratification, which you can't put a date on that far ahead.
I know, it was agreed 3 weeks ago but I'm starting to think it's more about stage management than rubber-stamping... I'm hearing the EFL have agreed in principle. Just fitting the minor distraction of a club takeover into the schedule of a celebrity. Something we might have to get used to...
I'm a bit confused at what the hold up is if everything is signed off and agreed and EFL approval is a formality. Do we have a sense of what's the cause? SMC?
Nervous no...but I'm starting to wonder why the timeline keeps slipping and nobody I know seems to be able to give a reason.... It just seems to be the way these kind of big transactions go.
No , Acun wants the logging rights to that fallen tree . Ehab wants it for his log burner .The council want it for the people of Hull .
They want to log up the fallen trees on West Park first. I did think about going back with my chainsaw
If the the new owner can descale the hot water pipes that fill the tea / coffee, he'll have my never-ending support.
I think people take some timelines too literally. For example, we will be sold 'one day' and 'one day' = 24 hours, so it's still accurate to say we'll be sold in 24 hours.
Hope it's not like the last time we moved house and on moving day our money got 'lost', it had gone to the 'wrong' branch of the solicitors... Gave a few hours delay (and added stress) - which was doubley annoying as I'd payed for the movers by the hour and the delay costed more and only just got everything moved before running out of time...
just like buying and selling a house, it seem's to go on forever then out of the blue you get a moving date.
