Promotion charge in tatters? YOU decide!

So, after that shambles, will we get promoted or not, assuming Sven stays for the whole season.

I wouldn't have thought Leicester are promotion candidates, maybe just shy of the play-offs and certainly top half

 

Not a chance unfortunately, and he'll be gone by spring.

 

It's still not right yet, clearly, but the potential has been on show for at least parts of games and I still think we will get promoted...with Sven!

There have been results over the years which have seemed like the end of this or that, but the truth is they are quickly forgotten.

Remember when Pearson's side were beat 5-1 by Forest then lost 3-1 to Bristol City at home? We still made the playoffs.

As our Nigel used to say...it's best not to get too excited by winning or losing. I suggest we do the same.

i seriously doubt we will get promoted this season, its a long shot at best given the way we are performing, outside chance of play offs but nothing more im afraid. dont think sven realises what is required to get out of this league.

the foxes by recent results and the season so far would indicate that they wont go up and they wont go down either, probably finish bang in the middle....

 

Of course Leicester will win promotion, and even if you're mid-table at Christmas you'll just spunk another £5-10m on players to ensure the job gets done.

 

I still say we will finish in the top 6 & if you´ve got money you´d be very stupid if you don´t spend it. You people are so bitter. Enjoy you WUMMING & keep at it. 1 day you will eat your words

 

Im not wumming here but i seriously believe that if sven is your manager after xmas then you guys have no chance. I genuinely believe he is such an overrated manager and cannot change a game if it isnt working. You guys have the money there to get promoted and i doubt it'll be too long before you do but i dont think it'll be this season

I love after some defeats we are being written off. Its october for christs sake! Dec jan is when the table will start to fragment and teams will go a number of points clear in any given position. Going to be the closest championship ever and i for one am excited. So i think we should take down this poll and put it up again around april time.

 

We are paying badly, yet we are mid-table, if we actually find some form, we will be getting into the top 6 no problem.

IF we had won this weekend, this poll would have looked soooo different.

no its not but you guys arent exactly playing well and you well and truly lost to a team that has been playing **** this season

 

5 clean sheets in 6, wins against Derby, Brighton and Southampton, away points against Middlesborough and Cardiff.

We havn't been playing well yet we are getting these results, its up to Sven to get the season going properly.

 

If we're mid table at Xmas then I cannot see the board giving him more money - he's been in the Championship for a year now and still does not seemed to have learned what it takes to get out
