Well, all I can say is that it’s a good job I’ve got a planet busting 3.0 V6 diesel and not one of those woke electric cars, as how else am I going to drive over the to magician’s house in the morning and get him to switch the leccy back on ?

You are still not over HIAG are you buddy ? .. he's gone mate ... let it go ... <ok>

The way to stop cats ****ting in your garden, is to have a cat yourself. But yeah, I know what you mean.
I have been trying all sorts. Coffee grounds, a cat repellant from Ace hardware. Heard lemon and orange juice also does the trick. Trouble is during the rainy season it just washes away and they start again.

Thinking of some motion activated sprinklers or electrifying the lawn if the more friendly options don’t work.

Get yourself some Jeyes fluid. Mix up a diluted solution and pour over everything including the plants, grass etc. as it’s safe to do so, using a watering can. Other than the smell it doesn’t harm the animals.

Morning all, I hope you’ve all survived the night?
In the Kent riviera the only decision today is whether sun block is needed!!
Our electric must have been off overnight.
Fridge freezer and cooker hood not working this morning.
Still dark outside and wet and windy as.

Our power came back on around 10:30pm last night. Then I had a helpful courtesy knock on the door at 1:30am from Western power to ask if it was back on …

Fookin hell this is a beauty of a storm, the wind gusts feel extreme just listening to them. No chance I’m going out of the door. Forecast to continue here until about 8pm. No power cuts yet so that’s a bonus, but there’s plenty of time left yet. Fire will be lit and that’s me for the day, a few bets on the togger and I’m done lol.
