    Sad to hear of the passing of our former manager Frank Burrows. The only manager in my lifetime to get us promoted twice. ✝️

    Sad to hear this news. I did like Frank. He was a level headed manager and I remember being at our final home game in the late eighties when we got promoted. Can’t remember who we played and I think the score was 0-0 but I could be wrong. The fans were on the pitch long before the final whistle!

    RIP Frankie.

    Cobbled together a promotion winning team out of freebies and cheap acquisitions.

    Brian McDermott scoring direct from a corner and a Kevin Bartlett goal v Crewe in our home game that clinched promotion in 1988 (so long as my memory isn't playing tricks on me).
