Still unbeaten under JJ. Definitely 2 points dropped but we have lots of first choice players out, so can’t win them all.

We do need another quality striker. Davison really doesn’t do enough for me and doesn’t have the quality when he’s on the ball.

Players tired 2nd half. Ref was poor.

felt burstow should have been chucked on in the 60th minute. Davison wasnt doing much - for a big guy, he dont win many headers.

Had we been losing 2-0 and ended up at 2-2 I'd have been relatively happy, but it went the other way and there's no denying I wasn't too chuffed when the referee blew up (9 seconds early and with a Charlton player about to shoot - I have never ever seen that before).
We did look pretty jaded, but you also have to be honest. We have another injury crisis on our hands, and all the CB's are out. Gunter has been getting some stick from the usual whiners, but the penalty was his first mistake for weeks, and I didn't see him make another. He was marking Stockton, one of the top scorers in the league and kept him pretty quiet after the penalty. Kirk is another one the valley unfaithful are abusing this morning, but he looked a lot keener than on his previous matches. i make it his first game since what, Cheltenham? With confidence low, he was given 12 minutes and he's being knocked for not doing what the rest of the team hadn't done in the second half.
Morcambe tidied up their defence after the second goal, and the penalty gave the a real lift, just when we could have got away from them. So we conceded two goals from what felt like only their two real moments of danger, and it feels pretty low after beating Plymouth, mainly because we have a lot of points to make up, and at 2-0 we were all thinking we had grabbed another three. But in the end a draw was probably a fair result, and another point in the bag. Let's hope Jacko finds some fresh legs for the Shrews - anyone know if Pearce or Lecko are ready to return?
