Tbh the only twat that day was Sutton, got rather upset at the ragging he got bless him, Frank La Boeff another one who was class, taking the p1ss out of his own keeper for being dodgy ..
What ? .. which team have you been watching ? Our passing has been shocking at times, and it isn't compromise when you see something isn't working, it's pure bloody mindedness and naivety
I've just updated the injury thread - https://www.not606.com/threads/the-injury-thread-2021-22.394814/
i was unwell and didnt get too see game over weekend, slept through it sounds like i missed best performance.. who played where, was it KLP and Longman wingbacks? they seemed too cause all the problems out wide from highlights i saw.
Yep but surprisingly KLP on the right and Longman left. Both had far more success at taking on their men than they ever normally do.
Maybe Longman is finally properly fit and we are only now starting to see what he is capable of. Hopefully. I heard Elder was out and about yesterday evening, so hopefully he's going to be fine for Wednesday .... although hopefully it doesn't mean we go back to same old set up! And finally, just to get hopefully in once more.
Even if Elder is fit, it's another left-sided defender to go with Greaves and McLoughlin. Not sure you can make a back three or four with that. For Cardiff we'll surely have to play someone from the U23s or shove someone out of position. Cannon at right back or something?
Reckon Elder could play left side of a back three? Rather that than go back to 4-3-3 with a make shift right back.
I don't think they're supposed to be in their actual positions, they seem to be just bunging on who they thought were the best eleven players (Though it's a 4-5-1, so Baxter's in goal and Longman's on there as a striker).
The dilemma is having only 2 available centrehalves and 1 (hopefully) available full back. I guess the formation will depend on whether we have a right back or centre half capable of stepping up from the 23's...
