And they only needed three goals to get it. The nearer they get to January though, the clearer it will be to some of the players that they will be eased out. It will get harder not easier. They do have two good players, who are top half standard, but they have some poor, bang average ones anarl. Maybe they'll just have to invite a few refs and opposition managers to dinner at the embassy. Just iron out a few facts. That should do it.
anyone else wonder why MOTD did not show 'the lines' when toney's goal was disallowed? from the original view it looked good to me but that is the first time i have noticed no 'here are the lines to prove VAR gave the correct call', even if they do spend time to adjust the frames slightly so rather than 'just on' the player is 'just off'. or did i just miss it?
The 'Mackem Conspiracy' continues to grow with Sunderland supporters increasing their campaign to smear the good name of the Saudi state. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-55002921 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-59369676
Following my post on Friday, 19th of November, please note the Kufia worn by both the Saudi Minister and The Crown Prince. It seems that whatever our 'Friends to the North' migh throw at us, at the TOP LEVEL, there is no anti Red and White bias.
It's not even MAINLY us! The stories will always be there and new ones always to be had. For the Saudis they aren't even stories. For them the legal norm is persecution, torture, discrimination and murder.
Before the end of the year Newcastle have Arsenal away, Leicester away, Liverpool away, Everton away plus Man City and Utd at home. After seeing Spurs, Man Utd and Chelsea demolish them, without trying too hard, you can't see many points from those. They also have Norwich and Burnley at home. Assuming they beat those two, and no one else picks up points, they'd still only be slightly above the drop zone ... ... they're in big trouble and the 'new manager bounce' isn't likely to start away to Arsenal. Conceding 3 goals at home to Brentford wasn't a great start and Joelinton could be in real trouble when the December pitches get slippy
