Got a feeling it will be a wholly unsatisfactory score draw Early Stewart goal, equaliser just before HT, 2nd half run out of steam Muted boos at final whistle
Actually really looking forward to this and I'll go for a good win That's from the heart but I am very worried we will see the same old same old We need to see that we are learning tactically Yes its exciting when its end to end but I'm getting tired of letting the opposition play and create chances. I want to see us play as a team shut the opposition down two up front and start putting away our chances. 3-0 KTF
4-4-2 for me tomorrow, humping the ball to Stewart a waste of time as well, get crosses in by all means, just dink them near the pen spot away from the goalie, we will need a player like Grabban/Taylor in Jan though.
3-5-2 for me. I always thought it was defensive but look at Chelsea. 5 defenders and 2 holding midfielders and they can still score for fun. With our squad in this league we should be fine.
I'd like to see us give 3-5-2 a go with Stewart and Broadhead up front. I think they could be a right handful for any defense. However LJ has a tendency to keep the same shape and fit players in to it. I worry he'll bring in Broadhead and play him out wide. We have the players but our tactics recently have looked very naïve. Hope LJ shows he can adapt and not just blindly keep doing the same thing. Just have to keep the faith.
Hope he goes 3-4-1-2 me. Needs a win desperately. Another spineless performance in front of a very big crowd could be the end.
Thanks to RTB showing we've not lost to these in this league. Hope that continues tomorrow and we end up with three points.
Id go 3-5-2... .....................Hoff........... .........Flanno..Wright..Doyle....... Winchester.....................Cirkin.. .......Evans....................Neil......... ..................Embleton............ ...........Broadhead..Stewart......
Lee Johnson says Sunderland will look a different side now they've had the chance to get players back up to top fitness over the last ten days. He insists fatigue was a major factor in his team’s recent dip in form and says he is confident his side can produce the level of performance that has left them with the best home record in the League this season.
