I think we'll be surprised. The younger lads will have enjoyed the 2 week break and i'm anticipating a 3-1 win.
Well done again @RTB 1-0 Broadhead. We need to be at them from the off, leave them no time to make decisions.
RTB Yep... a must win to get back on track and atm probably to prevent another step towards LJ getting sacked. Having read how Flanagan was brilliant at keeping the Italians at Bay... I presume he will start. Who will be the CB with him? Or 3 CBs? Stewart carrying a shoulder injury? So joins 09 with that problem.
I am more worried about lack of understanding and totally arrogant complacency of our "philosopher" tbh.
Great thread RTB, brilliant to have a match to talk about again. I am attending with some old friends not seen for a long time so looking forward to a great day all round. I am predicting a win. It will be tight because they are a good team. I am hopeful a few minor injuries have been rested, some confidence has been rebuilt in the likes of Flannagan and others, and Johnson has had time to get round a few imdividuals and have a 1 to 1 chat.
I'm in confident mode especially if Broadhead is playing as well as Stewart. I'm going for 3 1 to us and hoping Johnson can turn our firm round and put the 'V' s up to All those who wanted him out before a ball was kicked, changed their minds when we had that good run, and now want him out again!!!
Had a dream last night that we won, 2-0 if I remember right. Admittedly the game was taking place in the courtyard of a medieval castle and I was watching it lying on a four poster bed.
Dunno, all I can remember is that Sanderson played for them and I booed their striker off from the safety of my four poster.
HA'WAY THE LADS MACKEMS ATTACKEM Need a win to get back on track. Hopefully we've just had a blip and the team selection and tactics come up trumps. Otherwise we could be unfortunately looking at the "same old same old". Fingers crossed.
