Been watching all week. She really is a freak (in a good way) and easily deserving of her place in these big TV tournaments To go into that match needing to win 5-3 to progress out if the group, go 3-1 down and win 4 legs on the bounce with heavy scoring and finish it with a 170 checkout is amazing - if MVG had done that...blah blah blah,,, She could easily beat Sulovic in the next round too. More power to her.
I think it might have been Sulovic she beat in the World Champs when she first sprang to prominence...???
I used to love darts. There’s something very satisfying about just hitting the board. Let alone trying to hit doubles and trebles. Good arrows Fallon.
When I was an apprentice at Queens Gardens, we used to go to White Hart (the one at the rear of college) for our dinner (sausages, chips and beans £1.50!). A couple of lads were fannying around and both found themselves needing double 3 for the finish. After 5/6 attempts each, I took one of their darts and BOSH! straight in the double 3! Didn’t say anything. Just carried on up to the bar like it was an absolutely normal Wednesday afternoon. I’ve no idea how I managed it. I’m **** at darts! (But clearly better than those two herberts!)
I have to say a few of my customers go to big darts matches, they absolutely love it. Looks a great atmosphere. Definitely adding going to a darts tournament to my bucket list.
My ex-wife decided to join a darts team, and one game at Manor Club I was persuaded to go along and watch. I got hoodwinked into scoring, and after about 15 minutes of them trying to finish on a double without success, and me saying that I was clean-shaven when I started the game and now was sporting a full beard, I finally persuaded them to agree to finish on the captains through one dart apiece nearest the bull. I never went again. Clearly, Fallon is something very special.
she is brilliant on her day, as the years go on and the ladies keep playing at this level i reckon the likes of Sherrock will be right up there. the ladies are stil a bit behind the mens level , thats why it still causes news when they win , but darts is one of those sports where there is no real physical reason for it, i think its just because they havent been playing week in, week out at this sort of level over past few years, they will keep imrpoving the more they play in same field and become more consistent The mens game has come on leaps and bounds over last 10-15 years, the standard is phenomenal and people now get beat in the first round with averages that would have won the world title 20 years ago, same thing should happen with the ladies standard i reckon
been to a few of the premier league nights, great fun plenty of beer and singing , bit of Darts thrown in somewhere

Years ago in my local someone suggested that they saved time on Ladies darts night by going straight to double one. Having said that .I have met some lasses who were decent at darts, especially one who used to go in Botanic when I lived in Hull. There was a doubles board in there and her ability to hit double top was phenomenal and she was more than a match for most men.
She's only gone and done it again.....!!!!! She lost the first two legs and then won 10-5... it was the same fella she beat in the World Championships....
Suljovic was dog tod tonight, but as in most sports you can only beat what's in front of you and she out scored him and hit more of her doubles. Job done. On to Peter Wright, who was also pretty poor tonight, but won't fold like Mensur. Now watching MVG v Gary Anderson which is another level. Shame Russ Bray is the caller, I ****ing hate listening to him screaming 180's.
