Big news from the internationals was the Andorra player given a red card 20 seconds after kick off. History.pub quiz type stuff.
Lols. Kane knocks in 2 pens and a scruffy tap in v the worst team on the planet and he is the worlds greatest ever. Equivilant and Dixie dean according to sky. I mean seriously 6 goals on his way to englands record scorer that should have asterisk beside them for being against amatuers
Connor Coady has never been on the pitch while England have conceded a goal Lmao Surely HT against Italy he should have been bringing him on - if he was in the squad And if he wasn’t there is his mistake lmao
I know I bang on about this, but what is the point of risking injury for such an utterly one-sided debacle? When will FIFA accept that they need some sort of pre-qualifiers for the part-timers? If this was an equally mismatched domestic cup competition then the dominant club would field a scratch team for experience, and the result would be more likely to be respectable for the minnows. Absolutely nothing is learned from these fiascos. Such games are an embarrassment to the entire competition, imo.
Would take a seismic shift in philosophy at FIFA. They're all about trying to raise up the small teams and squash the big teams. It's why they won't allow a league to play an overseas game, they don't want to give any help to bigger teams. Making teams pre qualify would be seen as helping the big teams by FIFAs way of thinking. They want big teams to suffer.
