Brevity is a skill I have never been very good at. Why use 1 word when you can use 6 :)

    Hamilton driver of the weekend

    Worst sportsmanship's traits

Aussies bad winners, Yanks bad losers Horner and Vestappen must have both had Aussie and Yank parents

Horners interview after the race "how could Mercedes be that much quicker than us, I trust the stewards to sort it out for us"

I never liked him or his dutch poodle but now I hate both of them

The Brazilian crowd went crazy for Lewis and BOOED Vestappen, what else do you need to know

If you are touching a car you can be tampering with a car. That's why the parc ferme rule exists in the first place.

I feel justice was done with a win for Lewis. I voted Verstappen but very pleased it turned out to be Lewis. Looking at Lewis's energy level post race I think he has recovered from Long Covid.
I am not happy with the FIA, they should give back the rear wing to Merc and Verstappen at turn 4, can't see any reason to forgive other than the FIA are trying to keep the season alive and like the challenge Max is bringing, seems very lenient to me, too lenient.
Toto, his past bad language, clear today he is passionate, his reaction to the the Lewis overtake shows he has passion. Never seen the same from Horner, in this way. Good to see that level of passion.

Last few races are going to be fun, drivers running each other off the track left right and centre, all fine now, help yourself guys.

Should have a prize for who can run a competitor the furthest off the track at the FIA awards at the end of the season, perhaps have a point for it at each race?

If Lewis and Toto win their Championships, which looks likely now unless Mercedes **** up two of the remaining races, then Horner has two choices, he either quits F1, which he has threatened to do every year since the Hybrid era began, or he ends the Vesrtappen experiment and ditches him for Lando Norris who along with George Russell are the only two drivers who look capable or giving Hamilton a serious challenge

I can see Verstappen causing an unpleasant accident during his career. He planted his car on top of Lewis's head earlier in the season and today deliberately drove Lewis off the track. His act was no less than Vettel in Canada, who received a penalty and had a tantrum.
The FIA may like the challenge Verstappen bring but his act was a greater threat to safety than Lewis and his seatbelt.

Despite being so happy about today, I can't get over this not being a penalty. Wtaf?

    It's clear as anything.

The only satisfaction I get is that Max can watch this back and realise it's possible to avoid a DNF when the car you're racing misses the apex :emoticon-0130-devil:emoticon-0130-devil

Nobody knows what will happen next season with these new regs, so Max isn’t getting the boot anytime soon.

Losail, in Qatar doesn’t look great for overtaking apart from a long strait, and as the red bull was faster in the middle sector of corners today in Brazil they could have the advantage there.

Saudi Arabia is a total unknown, but looks the circuit best suited to Mercedes.

    Abu Dhabi is 50-50.

I wonder if the on board from Max will ever be published? I would be very surprised if it supported a no penalty decision!

Yep. If this scenario had been the other way around, I doubt they'd both come out unscathed.

It was good hard racing, and I can appreciate that, but drivers have been hit with 5 seconds for less. He's got away with one there.

I do like Max's driving style. He's exactly the kind of driver I love to watch. Completely love an aggressive driver, but there's times he just needs to accept the inevitable rather than getting to the point of you either move, or we crash. If he can ever figure that part, there's is a truly great driver there.

yes . We are seeing a different Toto ( Christian ) since the pressure has been on .

Having said that , he is nowhere near as spiteful / graceless as Horner IMHO .

My problem with him is that he does not seem to have learned that over 5 or 6 seasons

Each year it is Max has learned his lesson and will be better

At least in modern cars there is little chance of a driver getting killed

If he somehow misses out on the title this season, I would hope that there might be a bit or reflection on what could have made the difference... And maybe discretion being the better part of valor could be the lesson.
