Plenty of good play and a couple good goals.
Their defender careless for the penalty.
Easily winning a game against a team we'd have struggled with not that many years ago.

The 4th of Davies shoulder. Not sure he knew much about that.

No Keifer leading the line either.

Wasnt moore suspended? Not even on the bench.

Good counterattack and strike for their goal.

Sorry, I wasn't really thinking about Moore. Just glad he made the substitutes that he has.
Need to deal with any creeping complacency though.

    Not something you often see.
    A tactical keeper substitution.

    <laugh>

Was going to ask when was the last time we scored 5.
Pity we didnt keep a clean sheet but not much ward could do about that strike.

Anyway, good talking to you cling.
    No one else interested.<cheers>

Knowing what several on here say about the national team I doubt it.
Not quite held in as low a regard as rugby, but close.

(Good win for wales ladies against SA in the rugby earlier today.<applause>).

Yes excellent result in the rugby and hopefully more to come.
The ladies football team doing well also.
It's all looking positive at national level.
Wales v Belgium next then Wales v Greece (women).
The good folk of Cardiff are getting spoiled.

Sorry guys away in Portugal and game not on our TV here. Will be back to attend Belgium game on Tuesday. Biggest game since THAT one v Romania.

Great win tonight. Good to see us score 5 and other players getting involved through choice not necessity. Roll on Tuesday.

Evening gents.... Very good result and decent performance.

Shame Bale wasn't really fit enough to play through his 100th appearance but fantastic achievement all the same.

Good to see Keifer just behind the bench having a good natter with those just in front.

Very good to get the 5th after conceding. Hopefully the goal difference won't be needed because we will manage to get at least a draw v Belgium but if it does, then fingers crossed we do enough to clinch that 2nd spot.
    Think we've earned it now....

Hope to see City one day have a mobile back 3 with genuine wing backs like Wales played tonight.

My only gripe tonight was the pathetic devaluation of an international cap to Hennessee in last minute to as the tv said to inch him towards 100 caps. If he’s good enough he starts; he’s not so don’t give him a cap for 2 minutes. It should go down in the book as X full caps and X substitute appearance. They did it for Gunter and IMO it’s wrong.

I hear what you're saying but I have to say I see things somewhat differently regarding the devaluation of caps.
Traditionally, it's been all Wales could do to put a squad together with many players not bothered one way or the other if they played. So, for players that have served us so well in the past to still turn up knowing that they probably won't get a game, is in itself worthy of recognition. Also in the case of Hennessey, I have noticed how positive he is on the bench and supportive of everyone. Wales at long last have developed a real togetherness and have a really tight knit squad. I think a cap handed out in recognition of service to the squad is both rewarding for the individual and appreciated by the rest of the squad. A real positive action in my view and the entire squad looked delighted. Apart from that, I've always maitained that caps should be handed out for selection to the matchday squad as modern football is a group effort.

I was there with a substitute for BfB, as he is away in sunnier climes. Good to see Keifer having selfies with the kids before the game (and their mothers :emoticon-0142-happy). He seemed to be enjoying it, as were the occupants of Gareth Bale's box just behind me. A good win for Wales, who played some nice passing football. For me Belarus were the poorest international team I have seen for some time (I know you can only play what's in front of you) but their goal was the best of the game which drew a lot of applause from the Wales fans. Regarding the late substitution, bringing Hennesey on to earn a cap, I can see both points of view from Ninian and Clingo, but it did make me think of when we brought Sol Bamba on for a couple of minutes after his return from illness, Sometimes it's just the right thing to do.

How did the Scotch get a home one leg play off versus an unseeded opponent?
