Looking at the replay, Stockley has Oshilaja in a headlock, swinging him round. Oshilaja reacts to it. I agree with Steve Brown - the ref didn’t know what happened, so should have just given both a yellow card

I was watching SSN on the telly, left the room for 5 minutes - and both red cards & the goal happened before I got back Terrific that we held that lead and turned it into a win.
Over the moon with the win, but the red cards seemed disproportionate. If thats Stockley for three games we need Washington to step up big time.
Looked at the replay in close up. From when it starts it looks like Oshilaja has Stockley round the neck first, Stockley shakes him off and then pins him down. Arms are flailing everywhere and Stockley possibly catches Oshilaja. Lovely take down and hold by Josh Davison on Oshilaja and Pearce restrains and hauls Stockley away - as a captain should. For me it was wrestling only and no one was hitting out. That early in the game I’d say yellow for each and let the game settle. Might be worth an appeal as from what’s shown it should have been just yellows, but it depends on if there’s other angles or more footage.
Is Stockley becoming a bovver boy? Sent off yesterday, booked early on in the previous match and sailing close to the edge against the Black Cats. I think he's got fed up with getting nowt for being fouled and decided to take matters into his own hands. Doesn't help us when he's off the pitch and he was ineffective after his early booking- early test for Jacko sorting him ahrt.
