How was the comparison completely different .

 

Moyes was throwing the towel in. Setting us up for failure before the season had really got going. Johnson was saying we'd been doing well, despite him having the impression that some people thought we might not. I don't see how its possible to think the two are similar under any circumstances.

Does he not realise supporters want and expect us to do well and get promoted

 

For every season at the start we have expectations
Which ever division we are in the majority of supporters { I think } have the same expectations
In the third division to expect promotion is a must

 

Because in both cases what was said, should not have been said in public.

I think a lot said they would be happy to finish in the top half whilst the team was dismantled and rebuilt with youth.

Bollocks to another year in the third tier.
30k most weeks is outstanding loyalty and not being promoted to have a 5th season here is abject failure by all involved at the club.
I started going to the match in the 74/75 season and have had a season ticket for over 30 years I’ll be ****ed if I’ve got to apologise for expecting better.
