he has to go, he will always be remembered for taking City down to Div 1 in 24th place & one win against lowly Barnsley is not going to stop him repeating it again this season.
Saying that my concern is bringing in a manager with no previous experience of managing in The Championship. Leonid Slutsky had an impressive record managing CSKA Moscow & look how that turned out!!

My understanding when I read that was that Acun would still remain the figurehead but the financiers would want to flip the club to other financiers. Same face, different backers.

It didn't matter who was in charge, we were going down regardless. Had Adkins stayed, he'd have taken us down too, but he had the good sense to jump ship as he'd rebuilt his reputation. He completely ****ed it with his spell at Charlton though.

That relegation season was so bad because we were in touching distance of the play offs in Dec. We'd been in decline for years and we were heading to L1.

Do we think Baz has had contact with Ilicali/his people, and this means they are getting ready for a massive PR campaign to get the fans onside?

I mean, that's what he should be doing, so if it is the case, thumbs up from me

Almost certainly, even if it’s just a middleman, some one is feeding him the information
