Dear Mother, the I recall your advice when I first decided to become involved with SAFC '..it won't be easy, no matter what you may think now...' Thankfully I clearly remember some of the unpleasant issues that you and Father had to deal with at Marseille so I like to think that has prepared me for the difficulties we are experiencing at the moment. After a fairy tale start to the season, we've somewhat lost momentum and the last few weeks have been very difficult for everyone here. Some fans, are getting restless, demanding immediate changes to the coaching staff but I remember what Father used to say on the odd occasion when the Velodrome atmosphere was toxic ..' never ignore the fans but equally, never let them influence your decisions...' Your suggestion that I join in some of the fans forums was another bit of good advice you gave me, though I suspect it wasn't your own idea -I think it came from one of Father's old friends who employed an Englishman at his Antibes property some years ago - but it has really has given me an insight to how the fans feel and before you ask - I've taken all necessary precautions to ensure my anonymity remains absolute. You sounded worried when we spoke yesterday but be assured, the Dreyfus philosophy of taking the long view will always prevail. Thinking of you always Ky
Love monty987 me like, he's an acquired taste... I've been banging on a bit that we need a Cattermole in midfield and another hard man upfront and in center of defence.. Monty987 take on it was we need big black men. Quality.
