A podcast rather than a TV show - "A Wish for Afghanistan", a really interesting and balanced series looking at the situation in Afghanistan from a variety of perspectives. A deeply complex country.
The Israeli Police seem like a bunch of nutters and it's frustrating that after watching it all you don't find out why he did it, but it's a thoroughly bizarre story and fairly interesting.
I have been watching that Making A murderer about Steven Avery, served 18 years for something he never did then re arrested 1 year after released for a murder the Police are corrupt as **** but his family and him are weird as hell but it's interesting.
Assume you're talking about 'Finding Jack Charlton'. I was fortunate enough to spend a few days with Jack and Pat a few years ago. A genuinely lovely couple. He was exactly as you would expect, totally enjoyable company but like a little kid around Pat in some ways, some very funny moments to remember. The documentary brought all that back, so I suppose I could relate to it a bit more, but well worth a watch.
My memory of him wasn't so good, I was in the queue to board a plane in Riga, Latvia, and in front of me was Jack. Maybe stupidly I said to him, strange place to see you Jack, he turned and looked at me and said, "why, they play football here don't they", and that was the sum of our conversation.
I'm currently watching Midnight Mass, made by the same people who produced The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor and staring the excellent Kate Siegel, who also starred in the other two. I'm five episodes in (there's seven) and so far it been decent, it's well made though a little too religious for my liking.
Anyone else watching Angela Black? Written by same team who wrote The missing and Baptiste, Mrs made me watch it and now I’m hooked!
Haunting of Hill House was such a good show and the twist at the end was great. May give Midnight Mass a go as I didn’t mind Bly Manor either.
Obviously I was aware of the title, but watch it and you'll see what I mean, there's barely a passage from the bible not quoted.
I finished it this morning and I should probably do everyone a favour and just post what happens at the end, so nobody has to bother watching it. Nowhere near as good as the two Haunting series.
Just finished watching Clickbait on Netflix. Limited 8 episode series. Worth a watch with some good plot twists as the series rolled out.
