Yes…..a 3pm kick off. A club we used to struggle against if my memory serves me correct. However, I’m not expecting a 7-0 win - as per the Norwich game - but I reckon on a 4-0 win.

Better check that Academy and see if there's a striker lurking somewhere, talk about frustrating finishing !!!
Seriously we need another proper striker and quick smart, Lukaku can't do it alone.
Broja ?? Couldn't be worse than what was on display , especially Ross Barkley, what a log ,whatever position he plays.

We're a very good team but games like this is where we fall short of LFC and MCFC in my view. You can't create as many chances as we did and not win games like that at home to relegation candidates.

Should have been 4 or five given the inexplicable missed chances. Very frustrating.

He's still young and a good creative player. Had a very good first half but then just faded as it went on. He has talent but in terms of having a refined game he's still evidently behind Reece James, Mount and Chalobah.

……..Burnley to me looked like they had the build of rugby league players/ bin men. We messed up a lot of chances but Burnley were a very physical side and they did barge and hustle and their goalie was playing for time all game. Like I wrote in my original post, they are a club we seem to struggle against. If Jay Rodriguez wasn’t sent wide by Thiago Silva we could have lost 1-2 at the end - brilliant defending. Still, we could have and should have won 4-0 as I predicted.

    Quite right DL

Still having a cracking season so far when we play 3 4 3. Not quite there with 3 5 2 yet.

They have lost at home to Palace and drew at home to Brighton respectively so we are not too far behind them.

Palace and Brighton are considerably better sides than Burnley. They should both have more points on the board than they have. If we do like for like comparisons, Liverpool and City both beat Burnley at home comfortably.

Liverpool look like they might fall short as well but it's pretty clear at this stage City are a step up from the rest. They've had the most challenging run by yet are in touching distance of 1st.

I am not trying to big up Burnley, but the have not lost by more than two goals in any game this season. looking at their results it would seem they have been a tad unlucky, lets wait before making any predictions. 2-0 both games does not mean a comfortable game for me.
