cheers again RTB...sometimes wonder why you still bother but pleased you do, appreciate these threads sir. was hoping for a 'younger' team out especially hoping to see onien given a rest but it is what it is, no sign of frankie and danny so wondering if any commentary on it. mainly hoping to see this 'reaction' we are all waiting for.
Either after a confidence boost or getting players back to fitness. Do not understand the O9 bit and think personally I would have preferred more of the bairns. However LJ picks the team and it should be a win.
Once again Embleton is moved to accommodate the largely ineffective Pritchard. Embleton needs games in his natural position. Dyce could have played LW. I presume Wearne is injured?
I like the look of Younger but not too fussed on Alves from what I've seen. It seems he's quite rated at West Ham and it could be because he hasn't played that much here but he's looked really nervous when I've watched him.
Can't really understand why Alves is here when we have a more than capable Younger getting overlooked to accommodate a loan signing, crackers imo
Even in the game against QPR, even though defensively we played well, I thought he was the weakest link. I agree with you with bringing him in. If we are to use the academy to supplement the first team, surely we should use our own youths before developing other teams unless we don't have anyone suitable in that position
