what is wrong in saying the most stupidest comment for a long time ????? in my opinion it is. to say that we wont spend in January when its obvious that we must is a stupid comment. . we are weak in defence and midfield. as it is we are lucky now that Morgan calls the shots when it comes to spending so we are in good hands and will give Brendan what he wants...
it may not turn out to a stupid comment ,if we don't spend in January then it becomes factual, any way more than happy for a win but realistically a point away with what what we've acheived so far away from home is more likely.(and I'd take that right now)
What is wrong with saying "most stupidest" is that it makes no sense. "Most stupid"or "stupidest" suffices. I'd say your anti-Huw stuff qualified as some of the stupidest stuff I've seen, but you've decided that it's easier for you to deal with our fantastic chairman by pretending he's not in charge...let's not go there. We've got Caulker coming back, and until then Monk and Williams, possibly Moras too, will have to do. We ARE weak all over the field, but if one thing has been shown by our team it's that big name players with big price tags aren't necessarily any better than someone from League One who you got on a free. If they will work hard, learn, and play to the system then bring them in. If not, then we won't. Dai, I will bet you £20 that we don't spend more than 1mil in January. That's open to change as well, if you think 500k counts as "spending money" then I'd probably go for that too.
Scottswan ... I think ESPN2 gets a feed from Sky so the match is probably televised in the UK. Re: superswan .... you're asking for it, you know that don't you.
If you do score first, you are more or less guaranteed a win. we are bloody awful coming from behind. Yes, we did it a few times last season, but not this season, not yet anyway!
So of all the results, positive and negative..................when are you going to be back in sunny Swansea Scott? Have a safe journey and wear the afro and moustache that you have on your forum picture so I recognise you amongst the 20,000!
Dude I'm back! Moved in with my girlfriend in Mount Pleasant so all good. Job interview in a warehouse Monday (bit of a come down from diving!) and as long as that looks good I should be able to afford Bolton. Once I've got a job though it'll be as many matches as I can get tickets to! ps. You'll be happy to know I'm doing Movember this year again, I'll put a link up to the site when it's begging for money time. I've had massive John Peel inspired sideburns all summer, so I'm currently growing a moustache to join them into a "Lemmy". Boom!
That's from the BBC Match preview. Seems like it might be worth sticking a fiver on a goal in the first 20 minutes!
Can I have your old job Scott? Trouble is I'm a BSAC instructor, not PADI I fancy a bit of sun, sand and assisting hapless girls in bikinis in and out of their STAB jackets. God I'm a dirty old man.
Hah, BSAC just means you studied for ages before being allowed to get wet, right? Genuinely, BSAC divers never forget what they've learned. PADI is brilliant for getting people into the water, but if they're out of the water for a while, they'll definitely need refreshing before doing deep diving! The season finishes, pretty much, end of October. There's a growing locals scene out there, but even though my Spanish is fluent now it makes more sense to retain the Spanish instructors over me. On top of that, I've been dicked around by them a lot this year, so getting out early isn't that bad a thing. Getting out early minus half a months wages, however, grates... [/rant].
I've just been in contact with http://sportstonightlive.com/ and I'll be giving my thoughts (be that a good thing or bad thing!) shortly after full time! I have to admit, I'm excited and a bit nervous, I'll be Skype-ing it through. This wouldn't be so bad, but at the moment my sideburns/beard combo are epic so I expect a bit of stick!
