Billionaire's and their endorser's prefer us to blame those who have nothing, so that we don't blame those who have everything.

There shouldn’t be such a thing as a Billionaire.
    It’s disgusting

And who paid them their salary, and why if there was nothing to buy?

Maybe Musk's ancient ancestor was a Billionaire who fled Mars after destroying it? It may explain why Musk feels so desperate to colonise it again.

The guy in my post, Dan Price, has gone some way to proving why we're better off without Billionaire's. He is the CEO of a company in the US that paid his employees a minimum of $70,000 a year. As a results, the profits and wellbeing of his staff all improved greatly.

To be fair, Musk is a bit of an odd choice to have a go at. In my opinion, there's no one else on the planet right now who is driving us forwards as a species as much as he is. He's made his money legitimately and invested in highly risky businesses where it's historically difficult to make a profit. And his net worth is not taxable income.

There's a reason why his income isn't taxable though, and it's not a wholesome one.

He isn't. He's taxed on his income like everybody else.

His family owned stakes in emerald mines in South Africa. He's not some self-made billionaire who is saving the human race, he's just a billionaire who profited from Apartheid.

Unless I’m mistaken, there’s quite a possibility that I am, but, here goes: If a person gets $1000 per month, just to keep it easy, they would pay $140 in tax, a higher percentage of their monthly income, yes, but in overall terms, not a great deal.
If someone gets $1 billion a month, they pay $30 million in tax. A huge amount of money to the majority of people, but very little to the individual.

It is irrefutable that he is one of the richest men in the world, yet he paid zero in Capital Gains Tax in 2018, and not much more since.

He definitely has his idiosyncrasies, but he at least gives the impression of trying to do the right thing, yes with a profit motive but nothing wrong with that, and at least he's not a sociopath like Gates, Zuckerburg and Bezos.

His company is saving the US government billions of dollars in launch costs.

I'm not saying that billionaires are awesome, I'm just saying Musk doesn't seem like a good example of a 'bad' billionaire.

I see that, I just don't believe that there's such a thing as a 'good' billionaire. People don't become that rich without the exploitation of their workforce.
