These players wont be playing at Arsenal so will give a 100% unlike the other bell ends letting LJ carry the can at the minute. I hope the players give it their all and get the win. If we lose, but they have tried, then so be it. It would be interesting if a couple of players played so well it was impossible to leave them out of the next league game. Purely to mix it up a bit. Once again class RTB.
Thanks again for a great thread RTB. Home win for me fingers crossed. We could all do with a confidence booster.
smashing thread again RTB and im amazed at the positivity after being so down midweek , Ive gone for the win it will be tight but the lads will conquer
RTB As far as I am concerned, play a new formation to try and defend better!... A training game, for the next league game.
I love the FA Cup and always will. It’s sad when there’s very low crowds but it is understandable… We’ve got bigger worries.
Lee Johnson update: “There’s a chance Arby could be involved against Bradford on Tuesday – I’ve not decided yet. It won’t be for this weekend. “Nathan Broadhead is available for selection after his cameo during the week. He’s ready to go.” Johnson says he is likely to hand a rest to some players who have been carrying some minor knocks of late, and there will be a handful of academy players in the squad. But the head coach was clear that his side will be recognisable to supporters, and one that will be strong enough to try and seal a place in the second round. "You've got players like Ollie [Younger], Ellis [Taylor], Will [Harris], Stephen [Wearne], who have been with us recently," Johnson said. "They'll be in and about the squad. "But there will be a lot of senior players, we will pick a strong team there's absolutely no doubt about that. It won't be a weak team. "I'll pick the best team to go and win it. We have had a couple playing with bumps and bruises, so it might be an opportunity to give those a rest. "But we would do that in any scenario. To be brutally truthful, if you wrote off the cup competitions this year we would have more energy for the league, wouldn't we?There's no doubting that," he added. "But you want to win games, and when you pick a team, I don't care if it's 5-a-side, tiddlywinks, the FA Cup, the Papa John's, once you're there, there's a fanbase watching you, you want to win. Simple as that. "I want to create a winning environment and players want to feel like they're contributing to all levels of the club. That's what we're doing.
It is, but we'd sell more than that if we were going to 'Wembley' mind, which is what this is for them
Cracking thread as always. I am off watching some non league football today so will get my updates from this thread. Thanks in advance. Would be nice to see a mix up team of youth and regulars. Some regulars need to get a bit of confidence back (Pritchard, Dajaku) and some in a different position such as Winchester in CM. Would like to see Sohna get a run out again as I think he looks a good prospect in midfield. Wearne, Richardson etc too. Team selection will br interesting... Enjoy the day everyone.
Get your drift Gordon and hope you are right, above all, nice to know you are on the mend, and a win to-day will make us all feel better.
F*ck it were gonna hammer them. Broadhead hat trick, somebody else and Alves to get the last. Waiting to get picked up to go and keep bartenders employed first.
