Sorry Spurf Forgot to post "This is the worse start by Spurs since before this league existed" On what criteria? I am pretty sure that 15 points from 10 games is way better than quite a few seasons
I read it as meaning since Spurf has run this prediction league! I think that was my first ever correct prediction, but it does not bring me any joy to have been right. Hopefully I will soon be able to predict wins with odd scorers again.
TBH I heard one of the commentators say it, I didn't check the figures. It maybe the number of losses, we have already lost half the games we have played. Obviously 2008 was worse with 2 points from 8 games. Whatever! this is a very poor start from Spurs and even 2008 I was confident we had the players to turn it around do we have them this time?
So subjectively I could argue that this is the worst start to a season just because of the football and having at least two players who are not moved to make much effort.
My cousin said to me in the pub after the game that Nuno is the first Spurs manager to lose 5 of his first 10 league games. Maybe that could’ve been what the commentator was talking about (if it’s true?)?
