I didn't think it was a horrid game at all, just lots of misses that really we should have been putting away.
It wasn't at all, but for the neutral there are better games today. Not sure why Spurs v United is first on though.
Well said. It is important to note that most of his chances were those he made himself. It is not as if he is missing sitters. He looks good to me and I think with time, and a midfield that eventually learn to create, he will come good.
Just watched MOTD and was impressed by our performance...lots of chances, but poor finishing. Not sure what can be done to make us put the ball in the net, but, until that problem is solved, we always risk dropping points. There’s a good team there somewhere. Was also reminded that MOTD was once just that....one match selected as being of most interest. There would be a few other goals at the end. Couldn’t see any others because the BBC had limited outside broadcast units. How things have changed ....now even the most minor events can be covered. Nostalgia ...that’s what happens when you have another hour in the day
Yes, but MOTD didn't show the many times he ran down a cul-de-sac or gave it away. He wasn't bad, I'd say 6.5/10.
But as a creative player wouldn’t you rather he was 50/50 good/bad rather than 100 mediocre? That will get us goals and at least he’s trying to create rather than trying not to make any mistakes, which he’s appeared to do many times previously
I thought Redders had a decent game yesterday. Wasn't brilliant but lively enough and a big part of our forward play. Certainly justified his inclusion in the team at the moment.
As our defending improves, maybe he gets more chance to concentrate on his play WITH the ball There have been occasions in the past when I thought he has had very good defensive games, not what I want to remember him for really, but probably needed at the time
Redmond is much better than Elyounoussi. Again can't see why his name seems to be the one being debated. Redmond and KWP were showing signs of some very effective link-up play yesterday, and if they are given a run of games to form an understanding with each other, that could be a hell of a left-side combo.
One player I forgot to give a shout out to was McCarthy. Handling was excellent yesterday and after having not much to do made a brilliant save late on to preserve the win.

A colleague has just informed me that the referee was usually interviewed?! They should bring that back.
