Really hope I am wrong or that is 11 games without a win! Just can't see where goals are coming from with our lack of creativity - a lot of pressure on Stu Armstrong to deliver after his lengthy absence.

Just looking at the table... We have scored 5, let in 10 and have 4 points. Arsenal have also scored 5 and let in 10, yet have 10 points. So, to misquote Eric Morecambe, we've got all the right goals but not necessarily in the right matches. It really won't take that much of a shift to pick up 8-10 points in the next few games.

Just had a look at the 20/21 season table to confirm we finished 15th, with 41points 15 above relegation. I think looking at the games so far we'll improve on that this season. https://www.eurosport.com/football/premier-league/2020-2021/standing.shtml The calendar year stats are often quoted and disappointing as they are it's the league table at the end of 38 games.

Getting that first PL win of the season would provide a huge psychological boost for everyone and it is unusual for Ralph's Saints to draw so many albeit they have been in fixtures where we traditionally struggle.

I mean, mostly Arsenal has just gotten incredibly lucky. There's plenty of games ahead to reverse our fortunes, but we're currently on a -27 GD pace. Our xG isn't substantially better (-4.24) so it's not bad luck, and we're going to need to be better unless we want to flirt with the drop zone for most of the year.

Anywhere between 3 - 5 points is my guess.

And tactics, to help the front men score inside the penalty/goal areas. Others have, in my view, correctly pointed to the lack of service they get as it is and with the greatest respect to Stuart A and his undoubted positive contribution, other players and Ralph's own set up needs to recognise different ways of creating chances.

4 from 6 far. Should hopefully get another 6?

Need another 4 minimum I'd say.

Given we have Norwich the game after, I would take a point against Villa.

I'd prefer the win against villa and the point against Norwich just to show a certain striker he isn't missed

I'd be delighted if we beat Villa, it just wouldn't be a disaster if we didn't.

Not to mention the fact that Villa are currently a direct rival for league position. Norwich aren't and, god forbid, never will be.

Beating Villa would be incredibly helpful.
