No, he’s been watching us for some time so he knows the magnitude of the task in front of him. I’m just surprised that national media haven’t picked up on the fact that McCann is still in a job, to an outsider it must be bizarre.
At the end of the day we know sometimes your hands are tied till things are complete, but no matter how many times someone says "i will be judged at the end of the season" well they won't be judged then, for one you have to be here then.
It's fully within the realms of possibility that McCann could get sacked before the takeover if Acun decides to pay for it. I'm not saying he will, just that it's possible.
I'd say it's getting more and more possible. Especially if the potential new owners fund the sacking before things are complete
That's what I meant yeah. If they can get their man in place then they can hit the ground running when the takeover is complete. I can't remember the time frame, but I remember being told when the Allams took over that they'd already lined up Matty Fryatt as a signing and it didn't take long for that to go through.
Apparently he knows exactly who he wants and it's pretty much agreed pending the take over. So it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest
As i understand it McCant will be here till it's done which is not far off anyway so the point of doing anything now would not make alot of difference , even if he had won the last 5 games 5-0 it was already in place what would happen and they seem to be sticking to the plan.
I mean they could stick the new guy in, if it's the name I heard I'd have him in straight away, but in the mean time if they don't want to rock the boat stick Penno in charge for the next few.
