Happy with the 3 points and we’ve got rid of that bleeding monkey, but it sounds like we were far from convincing.

Ok I will ignore the performance today which was crap, anyway heaven knows where we’d be without Bentley in goal, special mentions for Atkinson and Kalas, both immense, as for Bakinson yet again……. <laugh>

    up the city <ok>

How we won that I'll never know.
Atkinson and Bentley were excellent today but Kalas was from a different planet.
    Unbelievable performance.

Counting down the days till January, because we need the cavalry.
Fair play to the boys today, rode their luck but didn't half give their all.

If you’re relying on the January window to bear fruit for our means, I fear it could be a disappointment for you..
I agree, Bentley, Atkinson & Kalas all had good games, but defensively we lacked communication, too often easily sliced open by a mediocre Barnsley side.. last 10 minutes, pure panic stations.. full time whistle, crowd sounded like we won the champions league final

Confidence makes all the difference, so long without a win at home obviously has an affect. Hopefully now we can play the game at home and not the occasion

Definitely a papering over the cracks win. How we still had less possession and attempts on goal at home to a team who have lost 5 on the bounce and in the bottom 3 is alarming!

I meant Barnsley created more, in second half they were allowed to create 13 shots ----- 3 on target ------ and 7 corners .... we managed 4 shots ------ 1 on target ....... and no corner! Against a real team that would have been a disaster!!!!

Wow that was edgy and nerve racking sitting on the edge of the seat stuff. But they finally got the monkey of their backs.
    Three points towards safety.
But I have to say we as a football side are shocking -Barnsley the worst team in the league actually should have taken something from the game.
NP has a job on his hands keeping city in the championship with that squad.
Clearly needs culling and new blood injected into the first team.
I don’t think it matters who is in charge with this current squad it is shocking.I do believe are strikers are not up to the job.
A massive mistake not adding a replacement when FD left.
Going to be a long season ahead but we need to keep our championship status and let NP start the rebuild next season.

P.S Fans were absolutely on the button last 10 minutes ⚽️❤️⚽️❤️⚽️

I'll say it we all know NP has been operating with half a basket, the fact he wanted to sign a striker, guess what.........:D:D

Weimann scored two really good goals, so it's not just about strikers........our defence looked very vulnerable IMO.
NP knew what he was taking on...no excuses in that department and most of those same players coped before..
Why did he start Bakinson when he's not been on form for a while, still looked short.....I'm getting the feeling that even after all this time, NP doesn't know his best 11, what tactics or formations to play........we got away with one today, helped by Bentley, last gasp defending and a clearance off the line by Martin along with terrible finishing from Barnsley.....
Again IMO, we are not out of the woods yet.....NP needs to up his and our game..

It was all about the result - important to end the home winless streak
Yes we rode our luck - but there have been other times when we have not got what we deserved - that's football

    Agree completely with that!!

It's already a really strange season though! Despite the fact we've been crap on a regular basis - and I think we can all agree on that! - another two wins would have had us in the play-off positions!!
